No, I have neither Leobreaker nor Nemesis Breaker yet. I hope to own both eventually, or at least Leobreaker, not sure if I care enough for Nemesis to get him
He would look good with Cybertron Galvatron.

My UT Megatron trio is complete! I love how different the designs end up being

Image

also love how Armada Megs body becomes his Energon self's weapon

The alt mode variety is also super sweet!

I feel bad for midget Armada megs amongst those giants  I only ever had the smaller version sadly. Love to get my mitts on the bigger size in normal or Galvatron colours.

Say what you will about the Unicron Trilogy but it certainly pushed the envelope when it came to Megatron designs, what with the whackier and more unique Armada and Cybertron figures. Arguably Energon is the least unique as it takes the most cue from G1 Galvatron but it still has some unique blue and minty colors in its Megatron form as well as a brand new kickass space ship mold.

Agreed with this.

I think Cybertron might be my overall favorite design, but all 3 are really tight in terms of how good/fun they are.

I also really like the colors on all 3, some interesting new color schemes, I like how green ran throughout each of the 3 designs.

One of the worst things which came from the Bay-to-Animated era onward to the 'brand unification' is that Megatron is now always going to be a boring gray.

Animated Megs may have been a boring grey, but his earth mode is Kickass B) I do hope we get something new to happen to the franchise, to give it a shot in the arm.

I don't mind Animated Megatron because he's such a mish mash of previous Megatron designs (including G1 classic, G1 Super Megatron and Movie) while also having a completely unique alt mode in his Earth form. Had season 4 been a thing, his Marauder Megatron form would have continued this trend of mish-mashing incarnations, whereas recently Cyberverse is just a G1 Megatron with a modernized tank mode and a different artstyle. His details are nearly identical, especially down to the torso buttons.

You can blame the "Evergreen" policy for that, ensuring that the characters look the same no matter how long you've been attached to the franchise

Yeah, I bitch about it in every thread already! There is still a chance this era of the franchise might end some day when a different team is assigned to the franchise and Hasbro feel they need to 'shake it up' again. Right now, its all safe, boring and reliable '80 nostalgia.

I wish we could get another Animated Megatron, or another Armada or Cybertron Megatron, those designs are so kickass! I love the Unicron armor integrated into Cybertron Megs and the antlers on the Armada one, it's such a nice new touch

I read somewhere these 'antlers' are a leftover from a Mini Con grabbing gimmick.

I find the idea funny because then that Megatron could bull head charge someone and grab them by his....uh, well, pincer-antlers. Imagine how surreal that would look if, say, Movie Megatron had done that to cut Jazz in two. Murder by head pincers.

Damn it man, now I wish we had gotten a Cybertron Wing Saber and/or Leobreaker weaponizer. Now THAT would make worth getting the Siege remake.

I really like Wing Saber, and he and Prime make a damn good Sonic Wing mode. That might be my favorite powerup ever made as a toy.

I really want a new go at a Leobreaker to make a more believable arm mode, and a new Wing Saber in either form would be welcome

I think Leobreaker may have been better off combining with Prime ala Energon Wing Saber, having him split down the middle and turn into two arms, might not have been able to do it back then, but now? :-?

Eh, I prefer him as a giant single arm, makes "Savage claw mode" look as awesome as it sounds. He needs a waist swivel and some leg retooling. but he could make a great arm with new engineering

Btw one toy from the era I always wanted to track down purely because it had such a kickass design is Cybertron Sideways/Noisemaze. Is that mold any good? How well does it hold up today and how does it scale with a modern CHUG collection?

Oh that is a fantastic toy! I have the Ratbat repaint, he is as complex if not more so than a lot of Studio series figures lately, and he can move! He's a good size deluxe too. I've been meaning to take more pictures of him, he is quite good

You need to get him, if anything the Cybertron Sideways version as the Galaxy Force one is a bit loose in the hips. On the flipside, the latter has the sharper horns, so...

Transformation is easy when you know what goes where in what order, the only bad thing is the clearance of his arm-mounted weapon.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Went to a friend's storage unit cleanout today, let's just say I cleaned up on Unicron trilogy bots.

Cliffjumper and Ironhide are pretty cool and chunky, I'm going to powerlinx them here next.

Rodimus is pretty nice, love the colors. He is going to go powerlinx-ing here soon too. Gotta figure out what the 2 pairs will be with him, Prowl, Inferno, and Downshift.

Quickstrike is really pretty with those colors. Landmine has a better brute mode, but this guy still looks impressive!

rhinox means I have now (in some form) secured every Transmetal Transformer mold made. Plus he has his bonus minicon, Hot Shot has the other from that pair (he was missing the 3rd to that team).

Finally got wheeljack, he is really cool! He also right there has the Dark Saber and the Skyboom shield repaint. Just need the requiem blaster!

Menasor is everything i expected, he is spectacular!

Hot Shot, Dirt Boss, Leobreaker, and Scattorshot are all the Galaxy force versions, and they are pretty. Cybertron Defense team complete! And proper Savage Claw mode can be made!

I honestly just wanted Hot Shot cause the car is so cool, and all of these were dirt cheap from this guy!
