Today I officially feel old..

Welcome to the General Discussion area where just about anything goes! This area is designed to discuss all matters and does not necessarily have to be Transformers related. Please keep topics relevant.

I'm going to be a junior this year.
My mom is always saying the same stuff as you.

Really..
You are 2 grades ahead of my oldest daughter.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Cool.
Highschool's great. Tell her I said Hi and have fun and if she ever meets up with some jerk that makes fun of her just ignore them.

Yes I know there is a couple of people that are older age wise so don’t post “I’m older than you :P” or something like that because your post will be removed..

Anyway, she is looking forward to school this year and joining drama..
Anyone else have high school aged kids?

Sorry bro!

God I'm not looking forward to those days at all. It's bad enough Jd starts next year to kindergarten.

I'd love to go revisit old years like high school (not earlier than that), college, etc., but just to visit. I'd love to see things again, all lost memories and such, kind of like having a film recording of all the old times. Memories are just too unreliable. Kind of like Al was in Quantum Leap: an invisible observer. Or Sam, a disguised participant.

Still, I've got a wife with a daughter in the oven, and life back then means life without them. I'm enjoying my personal writing a lot more and for once think I might be able to get somewhere with it... though I could do with a lot less bills.

Cool, a Quantum Leap reference. I loved this show. Just another sign of my age. :(

29 part 2 dammit.

edit: ah crap. Just goes to show how much denial I'm in...I'm actually 29 part 3 now...crap-in-a-hat.

I'm older than you :P

Only joking. In fact, you're more or less twice my age.

It's funny though, isn't it? They seem to stay young forever;0 then suddenly, they're off to uni. I watched this happen with two of my cousins. I was at their christening, and sooner or later I'll be at their weddings.

Life goes fast. A film once caught what I mean.

'Life goes fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it'
