Yup, it was in his wish list for the first movie, but the budget didn't allow its development.
"While talking about his decisions on why some Transformers made the cut and not others, Bay lets slip a juicy morsel. "I had an amazing aircraft-carrier idea that was just too expensive, so maybe another movie… that'll get the fans talking!"

I had an idea that maybe they had tidal wave carry a contigent of seekers (that get killed off fast) to suprise a us fleet.
I also thought wouldn't it be cool if they added characters form the toy lines into the movie such as wreckage, swindle, etc. Plus have shockwave who appeared in the movie game

I got a call from a friend in cali that told me just now one of the writers are looking for an engineering vehicles company for a future movie. What the heck is an engineering vehicle??? Sounds like something you repair cars with? Maybe Wheeljack not being a car?? I was just told this.
There is no excuse for TF3 to not be done properly!!!

hopefully more autobots this next time around. The autobots were way overpowered by the decepticons, something that kind of dissapointed me. Had the humans not helped out, the Autobots wouldn't have survived.
Heres something I'm wondering: are the alt modes going to stay the same for the surviving TF's from the movie? Hasbro's gotta make money off new toys somehow. In G1, they killed/reformated everyone to make more toys, in Beast wars the "transmetals", "transmetals 2", and "fuzors" appeared to change alt modes and add new charachters. Other than the autobots just becoming bored with their current forms (which would be kind of cheesy and wouldn't make sense to me), how could they best accomplish giving them new forms?
suppose they could do it just like Armada to Energon to cybertron where the movie just starts and they have new forms, no explanation at all.
I for one would like to see them keep there current forms but I doubt hasbro is thinking the same thing, since the current toys won't be as markatable in 2 to 3 years

Sector 7 reincarnates as N.B.E. Immigration services and we get a moving portrait of the hardships of trying to fit in on earth...

He's got some pretty far-out powers to go along with them, too, including teleportation, the projection of trippy telepathic visions and illusions, and the ability to groove on the language of 98% of all known species. To uses his powers to the fullest, though, he's gotta be feelin' good vibrations; bad karma can seriously harsh his mellow, y'know?

They're looking for a company specializing in construction equipment!

If thats true then maybe we might be getting the Constructicons or maybe even...the REAL DEVASTATOR? :gasp:
I hope to God thats true!

But what are they gonna do about Bonecrusher? I hope they revive him or something...

Engineering vehicles, or construction equipment (sometimes referred to as earth movers), are heavy-duty vehicles, specially designed for executing civil engineering and construction tasks. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineering_vehicle

Constructicons!
Yes!
further humour to my prior post, utilising the *ahem* "lost" Family Guy episode and vintage classics such as Fiddler On The Roof as influence, Stephen Spielberg will create a light-heartened musical counter balanced by poignant xenophobia as to make men weep.
In other words movie one was E.T., movie two Schindler's List with maybe a hint of Saving Private Ryan.
No wait, it'll be Jurassic Park or Land Before Time and Duel only with diggers!
I'm coming off so anti-semetic aren't I?
Shalom!

Raymond101 wrote:Mark my words friend, Megatron will be back. And he will have 90% of the allspark power in his chest to show for it. Bay isn't that silly to destroy all the Decepticons. And Megatron is THE villain, Decepticons are impossible to defeat forever.
I am hoping there will be a stealth bomber Decepticon and a aircraft carrier autobot (cough Omega supreme cough).
Megatron will be back, but probably not in #2. He will most likely come back in #3, and the power of the Allspark will have turned him into Galvatron, or it have at least made him a superwarrior.
Presently, they are saying Soundwave, Constructicons, and the Dinobots will be in it. Here is the wiki page: (with a minor edit by me, in parenthesis like this)
On May 30, 2007, DreamWorks greenlit two sequels to Transformers.[112] Shia LaBeouf,[113] Megan Fox[114] and Peter Cullen[45] are signed on to return. Producer Tom DeSanto has envisioned a storyline introducing the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Soundwave.[20] Writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman may not return, as "the next Star Trek is taking up most of our time." (Dude, they are so gonna kill the franchise w/ this. i am positive)[31] Michael Bay has not signed on, "trying to keep some leverage for the negotiations,"[45] but already has ideas, including an aircraft carrier character.[115] The producers expect that with a bigger budget and the special effects worked out, the Transformers will have a larger role.[116]

It would be cool for the sequel to start back in Seibertron with Starscream telling either Soundwave or Shockwave, or both what happened on Earth. The Wave's decide to go back to Earth to try and repair Megatron with Starscream opposing that idea, leading to a battle between Decepticons on Earth which threatens to destroy the planet. The 4 surviving Autobots need to do something about that, but since they're only 4, maybe 5 if they bring Jazz back (which should happen cause of the piece of the Allspark), but can't do anything. At that point, a group of 5 more autobots arrive led by Prowl or Ultra Magnus, meet up with the rest to fight the decepticons in an all out war with no humans. At the end, the Wave are able to bring back Megatron, who kills Starscream and the fights Optimus, but this time Optimus beating the hell out Megs using his cool sword.
