This is way better than the other one we heard off of Sector Seven, but I wish it had a tiny bit more of the original theme in it. That aside, I like it. Good for credits, not in-movie.

If THAT'S the MuteMath song, then maybe the Sector7 song IS Linkin Park. :-?

Still better than the Goo Goo Dolls song. Then again that's not saying a lot.

How in the world can it "not sound official"? This is on the band's Myspace, for crying out loud! That's about as official as it can get these days.

i never said it wasnt official...just said it doesnt SOUND official...it sounds like a band just having fun, not something made for a theatrical movie.

it doesnt evoke "this is a live action movie" ....its evokes "oh, another person/band did their version of the show's theme" ...but thats why they call em opinions and not fact lol

though i recently bought the 20th anniv. soundtrack and god, stan bush's version of the theme sucked ass...now i see why lion got the gig..lol

The song has much more of an end credits feels as oppose to a beginning high energy type track

Weapon: Gattling Gun
As long as it doesn't play during the regular movie, it'll be fine. It's perfect for credits, and maybe the intro credits sequence.

 First impression: kinda' out there. The computer beeps make it too corny, though I admit I enjoyed the vocals. I agree with you who said it was more of a credit-rolling track than anything.

All of this music is terrible....

I suppose it does fit well with the theme of ALL music of this century thus far though. XD

Emo and low grade electronica/trance on a Transformers movie soundtrack. Who'd have thought?

Did I mention the nightmare that is MuteMule's new theme? It's not even BAD, it's LAUGHABLE.

This version is a major improvement from that previously advertised. The other version was a step below bird piss. This version is much better.

Seriously though, I think it'd make a nice end-credit theme, it fits right in there with every other end-credit song; especially with franchises with similar histories... (Example: "Spiderman" had the remake of the original tune in it's end credits). I'd be a bit disappointed if the song played during the opening, as I'm expecting something a bit more orchestral.

All that said, I've been replaying that song over a few times today, and (IMO) it's a lot better than the one we THOUGHT was going to be the theme!

It's ok but I'm old school and I think Bay should have used Rob Zombie for the theme.

did someone just infer the linkin park song sucked? lol..whyyyy I oughttaaaa.....grrrr. lol

I don't think this mute math song sucks or anything, I mean, how much can you really do with the theme song anyway? We're not talking incredible lyrics or anything. It's a novelty.
