If Hasbro start making Titanmaster (Headmaster) Dinobots that would be amusing - as it would look like they were jumoing on the Dinobot gravy train like the 3rd parties are so fond of.

I'd say the existing tiny dinosaur mould is a bit to small to be a Dinobot unless it's a new character in the traditional colour scheme that is.

BTW, I like the characters not meant to be Headmasters now being Headmasters. Mainly because I'm actually a huge fan of the Headmaster gimmick. Call me whatever you want, I don't care!

Personally I'm still hoping for Snapdragon. He could easily be updated from a heavily remolded Voyager Brainstorm. Also wouldn't be against an Optimal Optimus that can be repurposed into Apeface (or vice versa).

As for those Titan Master singles with the vehicles, I'm convinced at least some of the vehicles can be turned into helmets to make larger TM heads. The dino in particular holds the TM inside its chest already. Turn the TM around and the face would be peering out of the gray helmet shaped chest the TM's own head would be sticking out of the bottom with plenty of room to be plugged into a larger figure.

Less than a month til Toy Fair (plus Nuremburg Toy Fair at the end of the month), I'm sure we'll learn a lot more soon.

I honestly would love to have a headmaster Optimus Primal. That would be pretty sweet to me

YES. Plus the headmaster could sit in the cockpit kind of like how the original was supposed to have that spark avatar gimmick.

It's highly doubtful, it will be moving on to another line anyway. Besides he's metroplexs rival so I expect something to the kin of his release.

It's interesting that Hasbro decided to make the TR Blaster and Soundwave have the look of their G1 toys rather than the cartoon.

No offense, but making a judgement like that this early, at this point in this part of the upcoming trilogy, is really closed-minded.

I'm sure we'll get more diverse characters as this Headmasters section goes on. I seriously can't see them NOT doing that. But until we know for SURE, I would lay off these kinds of assumptions.

But anyway, I think Soundwave looks AWESOME! I'll definitely be grabbing him up when I see him, and I'm really only on the fence about Ravage/Glit/whoever they do with the cat mold.

Same here! I have no idea why so many people are hating on Soundwave and the overall line as a whole when we have not even SEEN most of the line yet! This Soundwave will go VERY well with the "discount masterpiece line" that is CW Devastator (UW for me), CW leader Megatron, and the CW leader Seekers! I am loving this new line of figures to scale with each-other. I know it's a lot of money to get all of those listed above but COME ON they look too sexy together.

I only have to fairly minor complaints about Soundwave. First I feel like his legs come out a little too boxy without the speaker details that Blaster has breaking up the shape. I also don't like how big his visor is, it looks a little goofy to me. In the CG is looks good with his head tilted down, but on the actual figure the helmet doesn't do anything to cover the visor so it's this big mass of yellow.

Still I'm sure I'll get one if I ever find him, I don't see a lot of Leaders at local retail (still haven't seen the Seekers in person).

I wonder if with these two being basically Headmasters Takara Tomy might just make them into Twincast and Soundblaster right from the start?

It would make sense now that I think about it...

I think people may be mistaken in thinking Trypticon isn't a Titans returns toy - unless there is large delay in it's release it will be released in 2017 and that is 1 year after Fortress Maximus and less than 6 months before the usual death of the line would be - lines typically last 18 months or more not a year. so Titans Returns will still exist in 2017 - heck it will exist for most of 2017 - the only way Trypticon wouldn't be a Titan's Returns toy and instead an item in the next line is if it's released in December 2017 as one of the 1st items of the replacement line.

And an official Data of January 2018 would then be much more likely thus missing the date Hasbro advertised in the poll.

Also bare in mind Hasbro has said they plan to make one new Titan every year now so (no counting reissues/repaints)
Fortmax is the 2016 Product
Trypticon is 2017 and 2017 is when the majority of the Titans Returns line should be out - unless they do something weird like front weight it.
or to put it another way.

Fort Max Xmas toy 2016
Trypticon Xmas toy 2017 (overlap year) line ends december 2017
???? (new line) Xmas toy 2018 (line starts Jan 2018)

That would mean as with Fort max this year the 2019 toy is likely to come out earlier in the year 2019 if it's part of the 3rd line in the theme.
meaning it would be out quite early before Xmas.

But it depends on lead time when the retailers want to stock a big item and how many of the previous one are still around I guess.

But I'm pretty sure Trypticon is a Titan's Returns toy too. (even if they tack on a subtitle of something later on)

I mentioned this before, but I agree that Trypticon will be labeled Titan Return, and what better line to have two Titans in? But I don't believe he himself will have his own Titan Master. I think more likely we'll get a Deluxe Full-Tilt to counter Cerebros and still attach to Trypticon's chest in car mode as his bond and he'll be the one with the Titan Master head, probably called Wipe-Out or Brunt (depending on if they keep the tank/tower). I think that rout would work pretty well without making any major changes to Trypticon's character (not that Hasbro cares about that).

I absolutely HATE the look of this toy. Soundwave as a Headmaster is a reach. Not digging this at all.

Is there any obvious repaint/remold possibilities for Galvatron?

I really like the look of him, my only complaint (and it is a minor one) is that he is a Voyager class and not a Leader, which is only a problem because I would love to have him stand eye to eye with my CW Megatron
