TFW edited the whole site to be about Transmorphers. It was zany.
I wanted to say "Why not just call them Go-Bots?" Then I remembered, Go-Bots are owned by Hasbro now, and are now an official line of Transformers.
So, you know, now any transforming can be called a Transformer, because now Go-Bots are legally Transformers. Robotech/Macross as well, because of Jetfire and such.
However, the variable mobile suits in Gundam seem to be able to go either way. Zeta aired in '85-'86, but did Japan have Transformers then?
