Two Versions of Movie Prime?
I was thinking whilst inspecting Optimus Prime's alt mode. When I then saw the robot mode it seemed differen to the verion I saw somewhere. I think it was Empire. One version had the front of the truck on his chest. Is there more than one version?

I'm not sure he was talking about the toys, I thought he meant the animation model from the movie compared to the WIP artwork.

I think he does now. I think they updated the design after the fandom ejaculated, "Tis not G1 enough, I say!"
To be honest, I can't really keep up with it these days.

but what annoys me is that this movie seems all about G1. I mean I've grown up watching the modern series so i havn't seen G1 what do you think? I no that it's off topic seeing as i started this thread but does anyone think that this movie is more about G1?

Actually some people don't think it's G1 enough, because the Transformers look barely anything like the ones they're inspired after. I personally like most of the designs, just not Megs and Starscream.

Actually, there's a little bit of each series in the Movie.
The best example being Megatron's alt-mode, which happens to be a jet, and has a few design elements from Energon Megatron.

I look at that Empire cover and think to myself that they made that chest change only for that cover and nothing else. Everything we've seen so far has him with the other chest. Even the toys have the original design elements. They probably did it just so people wouldn't get in an uproar. Would also explain why the picture was blacked out for the most part because it was probably a sloppy photoshop job.
