I had an interesting thought today. That it would be very cool to have an original combiner, albeit, repainted from combaticons, based on the components left over from bruticus maximus(after you use the blue helicopter and the green tank and onslaught for bruticus), and the warcry and flameblast figures from fansproject.

In other words the combiner team would include warcry, flameblast, the brown tank, and the brown helicopter. That only leaves the question of who would be the core/leader figure.

Possibly the "(Audacity) Amelioration of Novel form, HeartMaster — HM-001" that is slated to be released this year?
- with "heartmaster" here possibly meaning the "heart" or center of the combiner
in question

what does everyone think?

If I'm not mistaken, all the Energon combiner limbs and cores are interchangeable. So you can use any of the core bots for your "custom" combiner. But I don't think Casualty Warcry and Flameblast comes with the combiner parts Crossfire Explorer and Munitioner comes with.

Small hitch to that, Warcry's energon plug was retooled to be closed up. It could be just a cap, but no promises. What's odd is if they deliberately disabled his combiner roots, why did they leave those pegs on his front bumper?

Flameblast, however, appears perfectly compatible with the bit that goes in Explorer's chest and even still has the peg for Colossus' hand.

I was thinking something similar about the pegs. Ill bet that is a cap that can come off. It is always possible to issue the feet and hands with the core character.

maybe its just wishful thinking. I think it would be very cool true or not.

if the heartmaster is not a combiner leader figure then im of the opinion that its a powermaster. Someone said that in another thread I believe. I emailed FP the idea for a pm prime trailer, maybe they're way ahead of me! Maybe more wishful thinking
