WHAT ARE THE BEST MOMENTS OF TRANSFORMERS

There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

Don't you like when in the 1986 Movie the Decepticons entered the Autobot shuttle and killed Prowl, Ironhide, Ratched and others? Or when (in the same movie) Unicron gave Megatron a new body and troops to command?

those arent great moments. Those are our favorite charcters being killed off. What wrong with you. okay, it was sorta cool, but the way you phrased it shocked me...

Was seeing Devastator the first time really awesome to you guys who saw it on TV?
I bought the DVDs, I already knew who Devastator was.

but a scene that made me go THAT WAS KICKASS was when Starscream picked up Megatron in gun mode in jet mode and fired him. It made zero sense and the scale was ridiculous but I was like "this is the best cartoon ever"

I know I've mentioned it a couple of times before but one memorable moment for me was growing up as a kid in the 80's and getting to watch all the now classic series like Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, and the rest. One moment really stuck out in my mind though. It was the day when I realized that somebody must have been copying off someone else in art class.

I remember seeing Brawl and thinking, "Hey, I think he was on the other show!"

I never would have noticed, but then again I never like He-Man.
BTW, it's Brawn, not Brawl.

Whoops! I can't believe I made that mistake. I could blame the name Brawl for being in my head on the movie, but then again, no one truly knows if that was supposed to be Brawl or Devastator. Bay and the subtitles say one thing, the write staff and Hasbro say another.

I saw it a few times in various theaters with all types of people in the crowd and yeah, each time at the end, everyone stood up and clapped!

That was awesome.

However show wise, I'm gonna have to say whenever the humans talk about teamwork and feelings

But seriously, anytime StarScream pleaded for Megatron not to kill him, that ime Dirge taught everyone a lesson in sorrow, actualy all of Megatron's Master Plan, including the press confince and when that guy in the club offered LaserBeak a cracker

There were a couple of occassions when Prime and Megatron had to team up. One time Megatron and Prime teamed up to take on Devestator. Another time we saw Prime use Megatron in gun mode to shoot the exponential generator off the planet. I think by far the funniest time that Prime and megatron team up was when the Insecticons were going on a rampage. Prime was trying to revive Megatron so that he could transform into gun mode. Prime was unsucessful in getting Megatron to transform on his own so he picks him up and transforms Megatron into his gun mode. Prime looked like an oversized child playing with a Transformer toy. I'll have to try and find a video and post it.

Oh, please do! I remember that episode too, but haven't seen it in a thousand years!

Gary Chalk did the voice of Man-At-Arms in the 2002 Masters of the Universe series. He also did the voice of He-Man in The New Adventures of He-Man from the early 90's. It was about the pony tailed, blue pants wearing He-Man that defended a planet ironically named Primus.

Of course Transformer fans will probably only be interested in Gary Chalk's voice work as Optimus Primal in Beast Wars and Beast Machines, as well as Prime in the Unicron Trilogy.

It's kind of a funky Six Degrees of Seperation of Transformers. Maybe we should start a thread where we can play and try to link other cartoons and maybe even movies to Transformers.

I'm surprised this thread is still going.

May I add another best Transformer moment?

BLACKOUT'S TRANSFORMATION!!!

When I first saw that scene in the movie theatre, I was like .

That would be cool; I love voice chasing. :D You can link a lot of cartoons, video games, TV shows, and such to TF voice actors. (Granted, a large part of that list would be Rob Paulsen and Frank Welker. :P )

Same here! Everyone in the theatre was obviously waiting with bated breath to see how they were gonna do the whole transforming thing in a live-action film..and when Blackout transformed the whole packed theatre was gasping and cheering and whatnot....I actually think the audience in the theatre when I went to see it was more entertaining than the movie itself!

When I went to see it, everyone in the audience was all silent during that scene. I think they were waiting to see how the Transformers make their appearance in the film.

I think that when I went to the theatre to see the movie--twice--that nobody but me and my brother were really familiar with Transformers. So I guess they were just curious to find out why a helicopter that was reported to have been shot down was flying to the base in Qatar... until they find out when it transforms that it wasn't really a helicopter after all... it's an evil Robot in Disguise!!!

You poor dear! I went and saw it on opening weekend, and all that was in the theatre were old-skool G1 fans...and some of them I knew from back in my fan-club-days....the house was split into proper factions.....Autobots down front and in the very back...and the Decepticons hogging the middle (the smart ones..getting full advantage of the sound system!)

My brother and I sat in the back, both times we went in to see the movie. We didn't see it til about a week after it opened. Oh well... at least we enjoy watching it together.
