It originaly was just an ordinary 'Super Robot' type mecha. Then grew into what it is now. But other mechas in the same universe have similar abilities. So most if its outstanding abilities are often equaled or nullified by the opponents.

BTW, though the Phoenix in my sig is a fan-character, it is only a adaptation of Phoenix to the TF universe. An if you played on Transformers 2005 MUSH, you could know how weak he is in that theme.

But if I did keep all it features while adapting it to TF, then it would be a Mary Sue indeed. Sunstorm would just run away crying.

Tengen toppa Gurren Lagann. It blows up the galaxy its in. Although this is expected it is the most powerful anime mech. (i.e with its feats actually having happened unlike Ideon. Watch the movie on youtube. It only blew up the solar system when it exploded)

Diebuster: The combined planet sized robot form of Nono and the buster machine corps. Nono in her uncombined form could casually slice a moon in half. Able to travel at faster than the speed of light.

Genesic Gaogaigar: Limitless power, was able to destroy an artificial star. Has the ability to turn it's enemies ito light.


The Destroyer. From Marvel comics. Made by Odin at it's lowest power it has easily overpowered both the hulk and Thor (he even killed Thor with a single shot of his eye beam. At its maximum it can grow to a thousand feet tall and fighting the Celestials, beings that rival a well fed Galactus in power.

Also with Magneto he can control all electro magentetism which means he can manipulate all atoms. His shield has also held of attacks from Galactus

Also all the usual comic power houses: Green Lanterns, Flash's, Heralds of Galactus, Firestorm

I tried to watch battles on youtube and could barely distinguish anything that was going on. Propably because of the bad encoding. But if it can really destroy a galaxy it'll probably win.

I wasn't aware there was a Gunbuster II. But it would need to have much more agility than Gunbuster to beat Phoenix. I'll try to watch the whole thing before I say it can win or not.

According the fusion is already done before the fight, Gaogaigar can probably win.

If it rivals Galactus than it will probably win.

I assume you meant electro magnetism. Maybe I just underestimate him because I've seen him in "Spiderman and His Amazing Friends" in which his mutant power was to have a magnet gun. I don't know. Personally I haven't seen him control anything that didn't contain metal.

Green Lantern: I only know a few of them. Mostly from Justice League TAS. And those would not last long. But based on what I know, a human GL could not concentrate hard enough and long enough to stand a chance.

The Flash's main advantage is speed but Phoenix's sight can track him down. Anyway Flash couldn't deliver enough damage to win.

I'm not going to argue about Galactus.

Firestorm would probably give Phoenix a good fight. But in the end I doubt he could witstand a more physical fight with Phoenix.

I don't know... The action going on is hard to distinguish. I planned to play ZOE for a long time but never did.

On the other hand I've played an finished many Armored Core games. Though some of them, like Nineball, are very tough, none has the actual power to beat Phoenix. But then again I have no idea just how powerful mechas in ZOE really are.

Even Xenogears from the game of the same name wouldn't stand much of a chance versus Phoenix. Neither would an EVA.

This reminds me that I should watch Rhaxephon one day... I heard the mechas are god-like entities in that anime.

Phoenix also beats Ironman.

Yeah he seems to have good chances of winning.
