but the legendary comes in a regular case it's just comes with a display case with a helmet cover

3 red lights means something went screwy in your system & you have to send it off to get it fixed. IIRC anybody that has this problem, though, Microsoft updated their warranty to 3 years just for the 3 red light problem.

Or you could do like I did & send it to the Muffin. He fixed mine, & now I have no problems. Only problem with that method, though, is non-Microsoft people opening the system voids the warranty, so if you have any other problems you can't make good on the warranty anymore.

I'm getting it, but I haven't been able to set up Xbox Live yet. I don't have a router or DSL modem I can hook up too, but I plan to remedy that soon. In the meantime, my GamerTag is "Rhys1" FYI.

Picked it up at midnight, doing pretty damn well so far.

For those who get it, don't bother with any difficulty aside from legendary.

BEat it on legendary, you unlock all the armor variants for online play.

I got it! This helmet is HUGE So far the game has been fun

OOO myns coming tomorrow, i'm skiving of college all day to play!! Legendary all the way!

No its moulded that it will only slot onto the stand. The store opens at 7.45 am tomorrow and i'm going to be waiting for it to open to get my legendary copy as even though I have a preorder, the system is different here. When you preorder something here all you get is a receipt with the preorder, but it is still first come, first served.

be careful with I think it is legendary the one that comes in the tin. When I picked up mine 2 people were there exchanging theirs already because the game became lose in the tin and was all scratched up.The clerk said he already exchanged four of them today,so you might want to open it first at the store to make sure

No its the limited version that comes in a tin, the legendary comes in a spartan helmet that contains the two discs form the limited edition in seperate boxes and a bonus disc with the cinematics from the first two on it. Anyway Microsoft has acknowledged the problem with the tins and will replace the discs free of charge, if you can wait another two weeks for them.

Got mine 11:45 CST played till 7 am with my buddy, beat normal. I'll have to do legendary myself he's not good enough. I can't believe Master Chief and Cortana have a baby together how is that even possible!!

EDIT: Aaaaannnd I misread things again.

I got it today. It looks pretty sweet so far. haven't messed around with it much, but the difference in weapon pickup/reload buttons is really throwing me off.

Also it seems like there are so many features to do online I can't find what the standard deathmatch/capture the flag/etc. options are. I'll browse through the instructions, though before I start to cry help. All-in-all it seems pretty fun so far.

I picked it up today...

A friend of mine and I were off work today, so we put about six hours in and finished the campaign on normal. So, the campaign is fairly short, but it was fun. Also there's achievements for going through on other difficulties and of course there's multiplayer. We only tried one multiplayer map.

Overall, the game is much like Halo 2, but it's all good.

Beat the campaign on Legendary a couple hours ago. Man, that game was friggin' sweet. I loved the ending, they honestly couldn't have ended it any better.

NOOOOOO!!!!! My Halo 3 Legendary is missing! it was shipped out but the postal company has it written as "parcel not found for shipping"

OK, so I broke down and picked it up yesterday (I'm so weak!). After about 90 minutes, I'm completely thrilled. I think once I'm done with the campaign the Forge mode will give lots of multiplayer opportunity.
