Why Galvatron MUST be voiced by Loenord Nimoy
If you watch the movie commentary, Michael Bay mentions that if it were not for MR. Nimoy, the vital observotory scene could not have been shot. Therefore, BAY OWES NIMOY!!!!!!!!!!

I'd personally prefer not to see Galvatron at all in the trilogy. You figure devastator, soundwave, prowl and wheeljack would all be good for the 2nd, and then take your pick of insecticons, dinobots, combaticons, jetfire, etroplex and trypticon, etc. for the final one. Still too much pre-movie G1 to draw on...
I guess any way you slice it, megatron is more interesting than Galvatron IMO. Personally, I'm hoping once the decepticons build a base in the Laurentian abyss (which seems inevitable) and resurrect megatron, he'll take an alt form similar to his G1 incarnation (esp. fusion cannon on arm).

If we get Nimoy for Galvatron, I DEMAND we get William Shatner as Wheeljack, and Casey Kasem as the angry radio DJ who swears a lot about Dogs dying.

Didn't Casey Kasem die like two years ago?
Or am I thinking of someone else?

Doubtful, he's still doing Scooby Doo with Welker.
Please explain how Nimoy made the observatory scene possible, as we don't get the movie for a while yet.

That's what I meant. And I WOULD like to see Galvatron. Particuly as a triple changer, a "Spider-Tank" Remeniscent of his cannon mode, and a forward swept wing jet like Cyclonus.
PS: Mr. Spock helped with the observotory scene because Bay couldn't get the Observotory people to cooperate. Leanord was married into Bay's family and was a big giver to the observotory. So they let Bay shoot there.

You know, the one where it was totally unecessary for them to even be at an obsevatory because they didn't use anything from there at all to help them find the Allspark, and they could have checked the etchings on the glasses at anytime, so in reality they could have really just shot that scene anywhere.
Yes to:
- Whether he's dead or not, the reanimated corpse of Casey Kasem in TF2 as the DJ reading the request over the radio, "From Sam to Mikaela, thanks for getting in that car with me... and also for sitting in my lap when I may or may not have been wearing pants because you know... safety first. It was a smooth move wasn't it? Now here's the Goo Goo dolls with another random love song made for yet another movie."
- William Shatner as Unicron which can almost be pulled off at Unicron's full scale, no make up, no trick photography, or CGI required for Shatner.
- Galvatron as Leonard Nimoy in the new Star Trek movie. Hell he's already alien plus he sounds like Leonard Nimoy.
- Me making a complete ass of myself in this post.

I dont think that Nimoy will want to do it.He wasnt to pleased the last time that he did Galvatron in the 86 film....but he has mellowed out a bit since then so who knows.

That was at an observatory? I thought it was a dam. Not Hoover Dam, but a smaller one further up the river.

No, obervotory, and by "Not possible" I mean it wouldn't have been shot there. BTW: any thoughts on my "Galvatron as a triple changer" idea?

Well it would be remanisant of the G1 toyling.Galvatron was a triple changer toy even if that never made it to the toon.

No, I mean, one mode is a sort of Spider-Tank that harkens back to his cannon mode, and a Cyclonus-esque forward-swept wing jet.

I understood I was only saying that the idea of a triple changing Galvatron would be like the G1 toy....not that the alternate modes should be the same....the ones you chose sound interseting as well.
