Oh and for the record, Mortal Kombat 9 has been REFUSED classification in Australia. It will therefore not be released here.

So it'll just have to be imported. See! No venting or getting angry, just finding a way around government ignorance.

As soon as I saw videos of game play I knew it would be RC'd. We so need a R rating (like 18 in the UK) for games stat. I don't personally play violent games but I believe in the principle that adults should be able to play/watch/read what they like and kids under 18 should be told no.

Good on ya for having the guts to say that. I wish parents today were actually doing their job and learning to say no. Mine did and I turned out ok I waited till I was legal old enough to watch stuff I couldn't when younger.

It's not abuse. It's letting them see that there are no happy endings, like all these stupid ass fairy tales suggest.

My parents didn't object to what I watched. I've been watching R rated movies for as long as I can remember and playing violent video games since I was 10ish. None of it ever had a negative affect on me.
