I always enjoy a fine scotch(give me Glenlivet any day), and a shot of whiskey(preferably Maker's Mark or Crown Royal) with my black and tan goes down easy. Ever had a flaming Dr. Pepper? You take a shot of 151 Bacardi and some Amaretto, light it on fire and drop it in a glass of beer. Chug the beer and shot, and it tastes like Dr. Pepper. Three or Four of those makes for a nice buzz.

We always start with a beer first then the shots come afterwards! Anything but jager! It used to be my favorite shot until i drank an obscene amount one night and now i don't really like the stuff. Can't even smell it anymore makes my stomach cringe! Anything else is fair game! We've always been big beer drinkers. Hey i'm German/Irish. But maybe i can manage to buck up and do a Jager shot just stand back in case i do my exorcist impression!

What can I say? I'm a beer snob. Great beer is delicious. Liquor all tastes pretty much the same to me. I'll drink it when it's offered, but it's never my first choice.

You know, the Con is fun enough on its own, but the fact that there will be a few dozden of us getting togetheer makes things all the more fun.

Thanks to Counterpunch for being the point man with all of this, my wife and I are counting down the days now!

I think someone should keep a stat on the total amount of drinks consumed by the Seibetronians.

If we do this Friday night, how the heck are we all gonna make it up in time for the start of the Con again Saturdfay morning?

Maybe I should just drink gingerale all night so I get all the best deals!

I leave for Botcon in half an hour! Got a 3 day drive ahead of me, looks like I will miss getting the info on the meetup.
Honk if you see a white ford Excursion on I-75 with a green minicon symbol on the back window. I will be monitoring CB-19 on the way up.

Howdy all! This is Counterpunch on the big Seibertron broadcast of 2008...

So, a couple of points of interest on the meet-up:

1) We will be meeting at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the lobby at 10 PM on Friday.

There is a lobby bar attached where we can acquire drinks and food. I am currently working with the hotel to see if drink specials and deals for us. Details will follow. If you need anything or are willing to bring a game system for the after party, please let me know.

2) Trading. We can do this if anyone desires to do so. Ideally, we can send lists of the items we are bringing for trade or sale. Just reply to everyone on this email with your list of goods. If this doesn't pan out, no big deal.

3) Hotel issues. If anyone is having problems with sleeping arrangements or needs a room for one reason or another, this is the place to call out for it. Right now, there is one couple who's flight has to arrive on Wednesday, but has no place to sleep for the night. If anyone is willing to help them out with some floor space for Wednesday night, well, you'd be a hero.

Please contact me with any questions, offers of help, or other issues.

We'll see you all later this week! Drive travel and hitch-hike safely!
