Dumb question, but worth putting out there...

Is the purple leader figure a bonus to try and sway customers to buy the Igear versions instead of the Unique Toys versions ? Will it be a freebie ? That would be an awesome business move by Igear...

Chimungmung has them in stock and lists the purple version as a free bonus. Will BBTS follow ?

I do wish UT's Sharkies were as tall as iGear's, but what can you do. I like the bulk iGear's Sharkticons have, and may need a set to display in robot mode, with UT's taking beast mode duties. Well Chimungmung says the purple shark is a bonus. But at $28.00 shipping, you save a whopping 18 bucks. It's a great option for all you penny pinchers out there, but EMS is always a pain. I prefer to avoid it. I buy stuff from Chimungmung when BBTS doesnt want to carry it like Orion.

I'm pretty stoked on my UT sharks and prefer them over the igear ones but the igear bot mode may be a bit better possibly but i won't commit myself to that statement just yet.
What i find myself becoming more interested in is the blue shark. That was an interesting plot twist they threw at us. But it's still in pre order phase. I'll wait to see some reviews on these dudes before i take the bait.

Silver sharpie! Each has it's merits. I'm liking UT's shark mode a little more, but definitely like iGear's bot mode. iGear's shark mouth is a bit narrow from the front.
