It looks pretty good for KFC. The only trouble is that it homages a character nobody gives a crap about. Maybe in Japan somebody is into that cartoon. I never even heard of it before this figure came out.

So, has anyone found out yet if KFC is gonna do a Beast Wars Cybershark repaint? That's the one I'll buy. They can keep the others.

KFC EAVI METAL Phase Two - Sencho Barbossa?
Hey Guys,
I haven't been on here in ages (like, more than three years probably) but I recently found this: http://tfsource.com/kfc/Barbossa/ and I want it, want it bad, but I have no idea if these third party products are any good, if they hold together etc. and wanted some feedback so, here I am. Has anybody bought this?

This product recently hit stores, so not many people (except maybe some residents of Asia) will have this in hand already. Check out the following thread for more information and reviews:

I'm far more excited about a 3rd Party Brave series reference than a Transformers one, because no one else will make this character and I have always wanted a Captain Shark toy that isn't a solid block of inarticulate plastic.
I'm in Canada.

which is ok since its a short list. that shark mode is pretty killer, but i want to see bot modes! if the face sculpt fits, im in.
can someone tell me who barbossa is homaged after?

Re: KFC E.A.V.I Metal Sharks
Like the Sky Byte colors, extra parts and remolds on this sculpt. What a difference all of this makes.
Think the sculpt is too overly bulky and beefy for the Sky Byte character. As Sky Byte has more of a streamlined spiny build.
This is a easy pass, Think HasTak went above and beyond with their 30th Voyager Sky Byte toy.

I think it looks much better than the Generations one, and the paint job is lovely here, but I'd still say either the original and the Botcon Sky-Byte are the best ones.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

BBTS.com has both KFC Haiku and Sencho on clearance sale for only $94.99.
That means each figure is only $47. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail
Think $47 is a really low clearance price to pay for a 3rd party Voyager-Ultra scaled toy.
