Same way the hip joints on the first runs of Heavylabor went bad. Nuff said.
I took apart the joints on my Stack when I was tightening the hips and they more or less are along the same idea. You have a toothed cog made out of semi-soft plastic forcing itself over a fixed bump made out of the same plastic. There is no spring system in place at all, in other words, its gonna wear out, and wear out quick. Especially since the joints have not been lubed in the slightest.
So yeah its not a problem now, but it will be faster than you think, because either the bump is gonna wear off or the teeth of the cog will, especially in the elbows where the tips of the teeth are much thinner.
This is why they have redesigned the joints to be spring loaded. Because the early ones have started showing symptoms.

KFC should now stand for Keep **** Customers. From their bad plastic to complete disappearance of communication.
Thanks Keith for selling me a product with **** joints - Stack is now having some issues, I have him displayed static, and he is starting to lump over - the Upper torso is starting to weigh down my hips... ****

The hips on my Citizen Stack have turned to mush. The ratchets are almost entirely stripped, and in robot mode, immediately falls backwards or forwards at the hips.
There was a pictoral on the problem earlier in this thread. Anyone else have this happen?

Yep, mine was worn out of the box. I ended up just putting several layers of clear nail polish what little fraction parts are in the hips. It did the job, but thats the price we pay for a unique edition of stacks.

Add me to the list of "floppy hips" V1 Stacks. I have him hunched over on my shelf so that he can fit...which is good I guess because he can't really stand upright very well. The issue was really driven home after seeing the pics of V2s in kicking posses. I like the V1 color scheme much more but unless KFC sends out replacement ratchets then I am never buying from them again. I was very hesitant to give KFC a second chance after buying a Mugen scope so this will be the final nail in their coffin if they don't stand behind their products/customers and fix an issue like this.
cyclonus may be fine, but i can't see why anyone would pre-order with KFC's track record on fixing problems. which is something other companies have done a hell of lot better on.
Also more shady stuff Heard KFC is ignoring people and deleting people's comments on facebook.
