That's looking rather smegging cool to be honest. I've got no interest in this black version, but I think I might actually be game for the red version.
I quite like RTS/United Perceptor, so I'll get this one and use both as pre- and post-CODA figures.

It's a simple design, but when the quality is apparently so high then it's all gravy. Want him bad.

I guess everyone is buying him for bot mode, but his alt modes both seem like "fan" modes to me. Neither of them seems to really tab/clip together solidly at all and the bits on his arms that are supposed to be the magnification adjustment nobs are way too small and close to his arms to be useful/realistic.
On the plus side, those guns look like they would work really well for Arcee and I like that he can holster his guns just like Beast Wars Metals X-9 Ravage.

I just got this and it has an amazing bot mode but doesn't really click together in alt modes. Also, the glue gave way on one of the shoulders, which I'm fixing. The ultimate question is which faction symbol do I give him? Purple Decepticon (Magnificus) or purple Autobot (SG Perceptor).

Looks like this guy is $9 off at TFsource. Well, since I'm a crazy person and order mint boxes, more like $7 off.
It was enough for me to bite, given the fabulous reception this figure has received.
If I like it, I'll probably get Surgeon (since I just like how weird it is).
