Why? Why? Why? Why?
Ok i know its sad, but darn it, I had to say something about this message.. I mean, it makes us Haters look like we have no business talking bad about Bay.. granted hye does action and all in good "Hollywood" style, but has his style become cliche? Lest we forget the moral teachings in "the last action hero" where by hollywood action cliche's were made fun of throughout the movie..can action become so complacent in movies that it actually becomes tiresome and boring??
Is micheal Bays action scenes a perfect example of tired used antics that sell big budget action flicks? I mean look at the video, in mute if you wish.. its all clipped together scenes from his various movies. and yes, he shows lots of explosions car crashes chases and ect.. but I mean, without all the Bay Bashing, why will this movie rock like the video says??
I think that this movie will be good, simply because we have Steven spielberg correcting things and not allowing Bay to over "Bayerize" this movie..that said, the designs have grown on me quite a bit, and had it not been for IDW and their indepth back story I may have boycotted this movie..yet, I am intrigued by the story line, and i am hopeful that quality action and CGI will help this movie retain value after its initial inception into theaters.. I mean IDW was good when I first watched it, but years later I have come to see it as tired and comical.. cliche.. and corny..
Sorry Ryan..
anyhow, why does Bay have the power? Because he has the directors seat.. but I just hope on July 4th, I'm not leaving mine empty part way through the movie..
