It's been years since I wanted her, but not enough to pay the price. Then I saw her on sale at Hobby Link Japan and decided it was finally time. So hop in and enjoy the ride!


First of, let's have a look at the box. It have very nice art.



In case you didn't know, the girls in Kiss Players KISS the bot to enter it and give it power. And maybe control it. Kinda like a headmaster actually.





The box have a drama CD that I'll never listen to.







Here's everything the box contain. The girl, the transforming car, the manual, and a collector card.



The manual have the same art as in the box, except for the actual instructions for the bot.



The figure herself is pretty good. But that face is just UGLY. Atari have a smoking hot body, but with the head of a Rugrats. She's still cute though. Cute and sexy. Yup, it's a thing.







However, the REAL "fun" is about to begin. Oh boy, that microbot. That **** microbot....



The painting of this vehicle mode is amazing. Nothing is amiss, even the rear lights!



However, the transformation is a NIGHTMARE. This tiny, tiny thing is overengeneered. They scaled down the Alternator's transformation at such a small scale. THAT'S INSANE!

So to transform him, you must pop the whole roof off. Yup, partsforing at this scale. Then, remove the unexpected gun from the bottom. Now, unfold the tiniest parts in Transformers History.



What's up with that arm? It popped off. They're pegged in via a slider on a very small, very low tolerance C clip. The slightest change in angle cause the arm to pop off. Fair enough, they pop back in, as usual... Except the left arm's C clip shoulder was on the loose side. A few pop-in-n-outs later, the arm just refused to clip back on. So I used a plyer to tighten the C clip.... Bad idea because I just stupidly broke it off instead.



So, now what? Well, time to fix my stupid mistake of course. Using some plastic from some leftover scraps, I managed to cut, shape, and glue back on a new clip that had a similar function than the old one. It's ugly but it does the job. It's also invisible in both modes.




Now back to schedule at last. Here we have the robot mode for the most complicated bot ever at that scale. The car wheels on the bottom of his feet make posing him a nightmare. In theory, that bot have INSANE amount of articulations. However, those feet prevent him from standing up outside a VERY specific way. Plus those arms keep popping off each time I touch the blasted thing.




The Autorooper look great though, next to miss Sexy Butterface. But that bot was no fun at all to manipulate. A simple repaint of a solid Universe legends would have done the trick perfectly and it would have made it for a better toy.



Speaking of Universe Legends, have a size comparison. The whole set is smol. Really smol. So smol. Just look at that. The Autorooper is SMALLER than a minicon! The overengineering of that bot is for delicate and patient fingers only. No ham-hands allowed. Also, really not for the faint of heart.



For the price, it's a pretty small package. But in the end, was it worth it?
HELL YEAH!
Atari's overall sculpt is very good. It's also the lewdest OFFICIAL figure ever in the Transformers line. Made by Takara no less. And having her is some sort of legacy from the cringiest part of Transformers History. Also, that frustrating overcomplicated mess of a bot was an experience in itself. Even if they kinda failed, the fact that I have a World's Smallest Alternator actually in hand is pretty much amazing. Atari look great with the regular Kiss Players Atari and her normal Autorooper.

Should you buy? Well, yes if you find it cheap enough for you, and only if you love bizarre and novel official products. It's really a "so bad that's it's good" kinda deal.
