It appears this little guy has been KO'd. While I'm not one too celebrate KOs, it's either get this guy for $20, get an official one sold separately for roughly $80-$110, or pay $130 or a Ratbat with a Soundblaster accessory.

It's entirely possible these won't be so good. I asked and the guy said the paint apps aren't so good. I balanced that out with this being about $20.

Curious to know what Articulation this MP Ratbat toy has. From the pics it appears the bat wings have some articulation. the Two bat legs look like they can swing forward.

MP Soundblaster and Soundwave are both awesome figures. Sadly they just sit on the sidelines because Im not a fan of the MP scale. I only bought them for the cassettes.

same. out of all the tapes, lazerbeak/buzzsaw ended up being my favorites. rumble/frenzy were second only because those pile drivers arent very solid, and ravage terrifies me. hearing about people breaking theirs makes me nervous, so i carefully TF'd him once and posed him. thats it. and while he looks pretty good, i wasnt blown away like the others.mooncake623 wrote:I kind of agree... Looks like the KO maker used one shade of plastic for the whole thing. Real ones have two different shades - parts where movement occurs are darker. Just comparing my official one in hand to pictures of these KOs.

Guess what I got today! The plastic is of a good quality, not the best but serviceable and the paints okay, not perfect but okay. The wings don't fit in the shoulders when fully extended but with the real thing going for at least $100 on its own, I can live with it. It does come in a cassette case. I ordered tow of them from two different sellers so when I (eventually) get the other one, I'll compare them.

I got the second one today. It's virtually identical. The right back thruster piece doesn't straighten up on either and the torso doesn't fold completely flush and the shoulders separate the same way but the gold paint is slightly better on the second one. I took comparison pics but I'm having trouble connecting my phone to my laptop to post them but honestly, they are the same. Still worth $20 to check Ratbat off you MP list.
