So a long story short, I think I've placed a bid on a KO Sunstreeker without paying any attention :HEADHURTS:

JUst I'm sure I'll win him. SO for the sake of asking....There never has been a official reissue of him, right? And if not, does anyone own the KO and can give me a positive review about him? Any advice would help as well. I'm not one for wanting KO's....but if anyone can tell me it holds up well, I just may keep him since I really want a Sunstreeker to stand next to me Sideswipe....thanks

pretty sure there's not been a recent reissue. He was released as part of the Classics Heroes line in the UK and Europe in the early 90s, but IIRC the official line is that Sunstreaker is unavailable for reissue, just like the Dinobots. Don't own the KO (or original, for that matter) so sadly can't help you with a review, but there might be some on youtube?

G1 KO or CHMS classics KO ??? I own the CHMS mold, but not a G1 KO mold...

if you get it for that price it can't be too bad, assuming it doesn't just fall apart, which, I'm sure we'd have heard about.

not much more than the cost of a normal deluxe, and actually cheaper than you'd get the Classics Sunstreaker off ebay for these days.

But I have read good things about those high end G1 KO's in the past. Theres not too much to get wrong on G1 figures. Theyre so simple. Unless of course they use cheap plastic. It's the classics molds that are harder to KO with quality.

I have the Hasbro Classics Sunstreeker. Love it.Looks great with my classics Sideswipe.

And I do hope I get the KO at this price. I saw a video review from kotoys.com (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2FgQ29f ... detailpage). Of course he gave it a good review. Hopefully, if I win it, it will be of good quality.

edit* I just watched a review on the original G1 Sunstrreeker. Apparently the mold has been lost. What I don't get about this is, if this mold can be KO'd, why couldn't Takara reverse engineer the ko for their own? Wasn't originally theirs anyways? Come on gurus of my favorite toy s in the whole world, slap me some knowledge in my face....

I assume it comes down to money. They'd rather spend it on making a new mold, than trying to re-engineer an old one.

I can't believe this thing is up to $61 now.......... a KO for Cybertron's sake. Come on Takara, rebuild the mold! There's money to made if people are willing to pay THAT much for a KO...
