Today is the day when Last Mech Standing begins. The official time will be noon US Central\Chicago. Please adjust it for your own time zone. I'll be posting the starting mission as close to noon as possible in this thread.

Remember the two rule
1. It must be at least a 2 vs 2 mission
2. No mission beyond 3 levels of your mech as in a 1-4 or 4-7 for a level 4 mech. The 1-11 hell missions are not counted. Mission logs will be needed for proof.

To make things easier on me, I'm going to keep a running total up in this first post.

It was General Incursion who got last mech standing. I was the first one out. Easiest way to find out is look at the very last line.

sumo please subtract 3 from my score (i should only have 6 claims now). i wasn’t paying attention the “no hell missions” requirement, and logged 3 invalid missions.

i cleaned up my post to reflect the changes. my apologies.

With the dumping of the mission logs, I'm debating about calling this tournament run done. Even if we don't call it done, I do ask everyone to wipe their current listings since they are now useless. I do like how Steve numbered his so if we all can do it that way, it will make things easier on me. I'm open to discussion about closing it down early because I've got some information for the next one on what to expect and change.

I was going to pay it out at the end regardless. I just want to know if we want to kill it now or wait until Friday like the original plan. It will most likely be after the main May event before I run the next one.

If we do continue, however, I'd say reward the winners now and start over again to go until Friday. As AZ stated, those who won up until this point did well to earn it.

Probably a good idea to kill it now. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm still seeing spotty connection to the site, as are a lot of the Cons. I got 503 errors trying to load Iacon for most of the day. I still get 503 errors on the war council and bragging threads. I wouldn't be surprised if something else broke in the next couple of days.
