I still don't want to buy that megatron so I'll have to see if they can add on to original armada megatron. Would be nice if the parts turned into a bot weaponiser style.

I am missing innovation.
Like many legacy figures, especially in the armada line, I don't see how this improves on the original.

- Titan Overlord
- Titan Fortress Maximus (not a retool)
This Tidalwave looks amazing! Glad he has a wonky base mode, I love basemodes!
Just a great character for a Titan.
<3 to the Playstation 2 game, still great!
Agreed 100%. I hope we get a toy colored version maybe in Selects. We did get Black Zarak and Omega Sentinel so it's possible.Stormshot_Prime wrote:Quantum Surge wrote:I can hear his boss theme play after seeing this.
Glad I’m not the only one who instantly thinks of the Amara’s Ps2 game. That game was, and is still a masterpiece that holds up shockingly well.
I suggested in the other thread they could have made Ramjet instead of this smaller TW and have that combine with Megatron. It wouldn't have been exactly like the original but it would have made more sense.Overcracker wrote:So, there’s a secondary smaller Tidal-Wave inside hus torso. No doubt thus is the one that actually combines with Megatron.
Still sad there’s mo Ramjet though.

See my post above. It's the same one and the other parts are hidden in other areas of the figure and does seem to form a full smaller bot. Personally I prefer this to including Ramjet for a few reasons. First and foremost it would be a pretty large Mini-con to make sense with him, but also there's no reason why they can't make one later like they've done with nearly all of the other Titans' extra partners. Since they aren't likely to make a second smaller Tidal Wave on his own any time soon I think it was smart to include him like this.
It does make me question why they had to remove the Mini-Con from Cybertron Metroplex because it wasn't in the budget if they could include a second entire Tidal Wave with this one. I guess he got a bigger budget.

Only if the standard price for Titans has since Metroplex.Overcracker wrote:Maybe TW is going to be more expensive than Metroplex.

Is there some story where Overlord would make sense at that size? I feel like he has a lot of Commander class potential, but is too simple for a Titan.
