You know if you took off the wing and did him with that design with yellow stripes he could be a passable Deadend. Not perfect, but a decent.

You missunderstood him. He said he should contact the guy to try and make it.
Check my last post in the Big List O Galleries thread for the link to the creator's site. The guy makes tons of scratch builds.

By the way, regarding the Rodimus fig; apparently (according to the Babelfish translation) the arms contain bits of Stampy and Break, and I think Live Convoy had some input too (there's some mention of helicopter, orange and feet). There's also three or four other figs that were used, but it looks like their names (assuming the guy knows them, he didn't know any of the others) are untranslatable; after running them through Babelfish, they're still in kana. We'd need a Japanese reader to translate it better.
The guy who built it wrote:スパリンロディマス
USA convoy
Helicopter of スパリンブルーティカス (orange) foot
Shoulder of the rabbit of BW
The penguin of BW suddenly the original shoulder joint
ライオコンボイ even suddenly
Joint of ゾイドブロックス
Crotch joint of メタルスインフェルノ
The material is above.

The kitbasher did what he could..
That Optimus design is horrid. I really can't get over those "candy pieces" on his kneepads.

BTW, I like that they got rid of meg's spinny attack and gave him a spark crystal instead. Too bad they used purple for his highlights instead of red.

Yeah. It is a little bland.
it LOOKS like they gave him a proper elbow as well, but it's hard to tell if it has the freedom to move all the way. I personally would have liked it if the spark crystal were on the side of his elbow joint, because if there IS room to move it, it's on the other side meaning the spark crystal is on the underside like an elbow-pad. then again, I think the side of the cylinder of his elbow is part of the outside of the tank turret so you would probably need a nicer looking joint than a ball-and-socket.

Just checked... it is BWII he comes from. BB was Starscream's partner (the big guy from the Stealth Assault/G2 Darkwing mould).

Max B was his reformatted mode, which was a remould from Wolfang and K-9.
