Found MP Rodimus at TRU on vets today. Picked up the last one.

got my MP Rodimus today thanks to Bishop. Now that I got him, I hate him . It took me 20 minutes to try to pose him. Anytime I tried to position his hands to rotate it the backback and chest would disconnect. I put some clear nail polish at the tabs so they will fit in tighter but still transform with no problem. It really help the problem alot.

Now you see why I did not like him.. Now I love my MP Grimlock!!

I don't know if this is new or anything, but I just got back from Family Dollar and saw that they have a new assortment of figures that includes Cybertron Wreckloose in new packaging (not the usual Universe packaging). There's also a version of Cybertron Backstop I've never seen. It has a black tail and silver paint apps (not grey, silver).

Also happened to find a few Energon figures (the gestalt team leaders actually). I know that's nothing new, but I haven't seen them there in almost a year. Picked up Barricade myself to have a more accurate Crossfire Bruticus.

I think that's the version BigLots has, there are 3 or 4 scouts going for the somewhat obscene (for BigLots) price of $7.99/ea, and I know Backstop is one of them. Easy passes for me, but they've been out for about 2 months maybe.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I haven't been to Dollar General or Big Lots since April. I just happened to be in Dollar General today picking up crayons, glue, and activity books (I'm a teacher). I went into the toy aisle to see if I could find some jump rope or any other games for my students and happened to see Wreckloose which REALLY surprised me. From what you've said, Dollar General's prices are even higher than Big Lots. Wreckloose and his case mates were going for 10 bucks! Thankfully, Energon Barricade was only 10 dollars as well.

Not bad about Barricade. Dollar General stores also have some really small TFs for about $4/ea, but I passed on those as well. They are smaller than Legends size. I think these may also be at BigLots and Family Dollar.

I'm pretty sure they've always carried Transformers. Sometimes their figures will be grossly overpriced (like playing 10 dollars for some of Cybertron's crappiest scout/basic figures). However, two years ago they were carrying Cybertron Leader class figures for 20 bucks! I picked up a Prime (which I kept putting off when the line was still in mass retail) and Metroplex. I gave the Metroplex to Toys for Tots though.

Every once in a blue moon, Family Dollar will get something insanely cool for a real bargain. My memory's a bit fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure they had Ultimate Bumblebees at one point for 25 or 30 bucks.

Man I hate dealing with eBay buyer/sellers. Last week I sold some transformer and they didn't pay. Now it's been 3 week and I have yet to receive my classics inferno or any replies. Just filed a claim with paypal. Hopefully they don't screw me

That sucks dude. I had something similar happen twice (once when a guy never sent my Titanium Starscream and again when a guy sent me a Nightscream that literally fell apart when I took it out the box). Ebay is really good at taking care of these issues.

Oh, and off topic (kinda), I have some errands to take care of today, so I'll check Target to see if they have Leadfoot (which I doubt).

Just got back from the Target on Vets. No sign of HA Leadfoot, but I did see Thundercracker, Wheeljack, and Warpath. I was really contemplating getting Thundercracker...but (and I know I'm in the minority here) I just don't care for the Classics Seeker mold.

I been looking for thundercracker but none in baton rouge. I promise myself I would rather save up the money from trying to get a thundercracker Gen on eBay to get a masterpiece thunder cracker instead. Will probably be awhile since all the MP thundercracker are going for 250+ shipping on eBay.

Transformer is such a expensive hobby lol. Im currently trying to get most of the igears figure and Fansproject superion appendage

So true. I remember seeing MP Thundercrackers go for 100 dollars shipped on Ebay. I never bit the bullet because I was pretty confident we'd get a stateside release, especially after Skywarp did. However, as each year passes and new MP's are announced as TRU exclusives, I begin to lose more and more hope that we'll see Thundercracker as a US retail figure.

Yeah eventually I will bite the bullet once I have the funds to get a MP thundercracker but at the moment I have other priority figures. I'm currently getting a custom commission done so I can't wait for it to be done. 3-4 month wait ftl but once I saw frenzyrumble's extinction commission I had to get it done since the dinobots are my fav

Wait, so you commissioned FR to make the Dinobot combiner for you? That is truly awesome man! You should post pics when you get it. That figure is too epic to NOT share the pictures!

Yeah but as everyone should know by now is frenzyrumble is so popular that his commission list fills up quick and he is always working on something. It will probably be a 3-4 month wait for my commission but I can understand considering the amount of detail he puts into every commission. I will post progress pictures once he gets started on my commission

Im surprise that Hasbro or Takara hasn't attempt a MP soundwave. I think that would be awesome. I recently picked up a few classics and etc from a member on Rangerboard. He was selling MISB Classic Rodimus for 10 dollar. He had alot other figures too but I didnt see it until it was all gone so I end up getting RID Ultra Magnus, Sideburn, and X-Brawn since I had them when I was little but broke them lol.

Went hunting this afternoon:

Harvey - Ross had more Leader class Starscream and Optimus Prime figures, Battleblades Bumblebee, and an HFTD Ironhide. Didn't see any sign of voyager or scout class figures (still looking for a non-scalped Windcharger). Target had more Generations figures like Dirge and Scourge, no sign of HA Leadfoot. Although they seem to have a buy 1 get 1 on Marvel Universe figures, picked up the astral variant Dr. Strange and a Scarlet Spider.

Marrero - Toys R Us didn't seem to have anything new, and no MP Rodimus figures. Probably restock him tomorrow or later this week, but I'm not in a big rush. I started posing Takara Rodimus last night since I put some shelves up, jeez he can be frail.

I remember seeing 10 windcharger a month ago but didn't pick up cause I never collected legend class. I wish I did now that I know he is rare

Just went to siegan lane target. Finally found a thundercracker for 10 bucks. My day has been made lol. No sign of leadfoot but I need to check millerville walmart since my brother collects the movie toys

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that the TRU in Baton Rouge is closing down and will be reopening as a combined Toys R Us, Babies R Us on Seigen Lane next to Kohl's in the Walmart shopping center. They are set to close doors on Sept 13 and reopen on Sept 30. Sadly it doesn't look like ANY new stock is out at the current store, but this may mean good news when the new store reopens. They haven't put many things on sale yet but the manager said that they would be soon.
