Who is Rodimus Cron? Is that Rodimus Unicronus?

Samoa Joe as Predaking? I never saw that one coming. Although I recently read that he was an avid gamer and started off as a dancer. (He is not related to the Rock or Roman Reigns) But I hope he can pull off a raspy G1 Predaking voice. I dont want to hear Predaking start talking more than 5 word sentences.

Nah, he'll just quietly explain how he's going to choke out a frightened Volcanicus... and then injure himself and miss Wrestlemania the rest of the series.

Good? The whole show was one massive fake-out. We spent two episodes building up to Trypticon's threat, then seven episodes of fighting Trypticon, only for the last episode to just have him suddenly fall over and then switch its attention to something else entirely unrelated to all that came before, as though those two episodes of build up and seven episodes of fighting were all for nothing.

TR trolled its audience by making Trypticon seem like a big deal for so long only for the last minute to say "Nah, he was pointless. This new threat from out of nowhere is the real deal!"

This ^, I was disappointed, not as much as combiner wars but still disappointed. My big thing was, what was Megatronus plan anyway? He already has impressive power so why not do things himself?

Besides I liked it and with the inclusion of more voice talent it makes it an entertaining show

Sure I could like you go on and on about everything that is wrong with the cartoon but I'm not that cynical it is what it is and I'll just enjoy watching it for what it is

What about Titans Return did you like? The voice cast was improved but this was hardly their best and it showed I thought.

I liked it because I had fun watching it watching metroplex and trypticon fighting brought up nostalgia

See, none of that was really explained, though. We're forced to make assumptions based on what very little scraps of info and logic that the show actually fed to us, as though it expected us to already be familiar with and understand everything that the show was trying to do with its story, which couldn't be further from the truth. That is not good storytelling.

See, none of that was really explained, though. Being low budget doesn't give it a free pass for being mediocre. Remember that CW was seriously hyped up by its makers as being "the Game of Thrones of animation". They clearly had high hopes for these shows to be top notch works, but the end result makes those high hopes look more like delusions of grandeur if this kind of storytelling is what they think is on the same level as something like Game of Thrones.

Even if they could get the best actors in history, they'd still need good writing and directing behind them. Honestly, they didn't need to get these big name actors involved in order for these shows to be good. The YouTube/lesser-known actors are talented enough to give good performances, Jason Marnocha's Megatron and Jon Bailey's unofficial Optimus Prime videos are proof of that. Had the shows budgeted their money for better writing and directing, CW and TR could have been something really good, or even great. They just needed to shift their focus more onto making the cake--rather than the icing--taste good.

I just find it so wierd when I read this statement from Hasbro's CEO:

We continue to run more adult oriented content on Machinima for that fan

Yeah, I find so many problems with this, not only in the fact that I think its really dumb to say that thse machinima series are done for fans (unlike any other output from hasbro) but saying that it has adult content is really really wrong.

As also announced during the Hasbro Brand Entertainment panel today at New York Toy Fair 2018, Machinima has release via their official social media accounts a new poster for the threequel series in the Prime Wars Trilogy animated series. After Combiner Wars and Titans Return, it's now time for Power of the Primes!

Coming soon from Hasbro and Machinima, the series will see the full cast of the previous series returning, including Mark Hamill as Megatronus, and the addition of Samoa Joe, Ron Perlman, Gregg Berger and more for the final chapter in the trilogy.
