I'm not sure if you're joking or you honestly missed the last page or 20 of people complaining about it.

'Course, most of the praise came simply from the show's being a G1-style show rather than anything of actual quality (or lack thereof) in the show. Comments like "Oh, it's the Transformers from my childhood finally brought back!" or "G1 lives again!" or "This is WAY better than that stupid RID show!" or "This is how the movies should be!" show just how much of Facebook is home to a fanbase of Geewunners who blinded themselves to any of the show's actual shortcomings all because it used a G1-inspired look (much like how many likewise blind themselves to any of the original G1 cartoon's actual shortcomings, funnily enough).
As long as the Facebook crowd keeps singing blind praises to any garbage product that happens to resemble G1 closely enough, there will always be an audience for more of this foolishness.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

I want to see Godmasters. I know that's what they're doing now (only with heads, not engines) but it'd be cool to see them again. I don't really care what gimmick they use since I'd be fine with any of them. Except...Kiss Players....*shudders*Kurona wrote:There is one piece of interesting news here - we found out the final instalment in Prime Wars is called "Power of the Primes".
Absolutely no friggin' clue what gimmick that could be though. Then again, not like the name Titans Return would immediately make you think Headmasters.

So that would mean Minicons representing Micronus Prime, beasts representing Onyx Prime, Combiners representing Nexus Prime and so on as well as some of the actual Thirteen. Could end up being a lot of variety if done this way, like mini factions.

I can partially agree with this. Yeah, there was some good voice acting (Jon 3.0) but it was overshadowed by some incredibly terrible voice acting (whoever did Starscream)

This is what I'm hoping for. I would love a Nexus Prime toy done in the style of the Combiner Wars combiners, Hasbro could even be lazy and repaint the Combaticons if they wanted, seeing as the original Nexus Prime was a repaint of Energon Bruticus Maximus. I think Mini-Cons are likely to be involved in some way, Robots in Disguise has been Mini-Con heavy since it started, so I can see Hasbro wanting to add them to other areas and make them even more prominent.

Actually, Nexus Prime replaced one of the tanks and one of the helicopters with two aerialbots.
It'd still be really cool though and I feel it's been a missed opportunity, especially by Botcon/the club. Air Raid, Slingshot, Blades, Onslaught, Brawl... would've been so easy. Just needed a new combiner head too.

You misinterpret what he says Sabr is saying that even if it looks like G1 a garbage show would still be garbage even if it looked like something else like Animated or Prime.
It's the plot and the animation that is garbage not the design of the show which is ok but it's not even original which to be honest due to people like the Facebook fans we will most likely never see an original Transformers project again after Rid is done besides the Bay movies which a vocal minority and the hard core G1 fans dislike because it has to be G1 only because everything else is a turd and my childhood was raped thanks Obama Bay.
I'd say that the only one whose acting was really bad was the Mistress of Flame, while the only one who was royally miscast was Menasor. To me, the rest of the characters both had voices that were decent and acting that range from passable to really good (Megatron takes the cake for having the best acting and best voice).Burn wrote:Sabrblade wrote:"The voice acting is underappreciated"

That's my point, though. The nutcases on Facebook blindly praised this show because of its using G1 likenesses. Had it used the likenesses of, say, the 2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon, I doubt all of those people would have given it as much praise as they did. The fact that the show used G1 likenesses is how it garnered such a following on Facebook, since all those people want to see G1 likenesses ("not the stupid Bayformers or RID kiddie crud!") and this show gave them what they wanted, even if the show itself turned out to be garbage.Ultra Markus wrote:Deadput wrote:Ultra Markus wrote:so much G1 hate!

Well the tone of the comment made me think otherwise, but yeah I'm a big G1 fan myself and thought it wasn't very good it was more like a bad fan made YouTube video
The only thing it had going for it was the likeness of the characters
My thought is the devestaion game made a better G1 cartoon than that

Oh and your signature is too large as per our site guidelines. I can fix it for ya if you like but most people don't like what I give them.
