Kurona wrote:Peter Cullen is a little over-used to say the least. He's in all the live-action movies, he's in both Aligned cartoons, now he's in this, I'm pretty sure he's done half a dozen minor roles as well... basically every Optimus voice in the last 10 years bar Animated has either been done by him or eventually been done by him in the case of Machinima. And he's damn good at it, but it would be a little nice if just for once someone else was allowed to be Optimus for more than five seconds.
I actually vastly prefer both Garry Chalk and David Kaye to him. Sue me

One would think, but as low bar AOE was, for instance, TLK somehow managed to be an even bigger mess of a movie. Since that happened, TR can still be every bit as bad, if not worse, than CW was.Bumblevivisector wrote:The low bar means the sequel has nowhere to go but up,

And it would be one thing if it looked like the series creators had taken everyone's criticisms on board and resolved to do better next time. But their press releases basically boiled down to, "This was a huge success because we had so many hits!" Completely ignoring all the critique, so more than likely they're going to do just more of the same this time around.

He even just recently got yet another one, albeit, in comic/video game form.Quantum Surge wrote:Funny that, I was rewatching Fighting Spirit from Dino Thunder before this was confirmed. I kind of wish that JDF's other Ranger roles were brought up more often.

Kurona wrote:Funny thing that Power Rangers/Transformers news should come up like this for me actually, since only last night I found out that that current MMPR comic is being written by Mairghread Scott -- which does make me much more interested in reading it. Heck, in general I've been in a bit of a Power Rangers kick despite barely watching any of the actual show thanks to rewatching Linkara's HOPR.

Same to all of that? ... are you me from a parallel universe?
Machinima Titans Return series will be 11 episodes at 10 minutes each (150 minutes - feature film length). The fan response and critique that the Combiner Wars series was too short motivated Machinima to up the budget. They showed a trailer, and some storyboards.
Overlord will be part of the series - they wanted to make his part organic, and not shoehorn him in. Everything comes together in the 3rd episode (or act? Or segment?) that explains his involvement and fills plot holes.
Metroplex, Trypticon are shown. The importance of Windblade as a city speaker will be highlighted.
Release date: November, episodes to go live twice a week.
