*Removed based on the mod-post that went in while I was typing. Sorry, work computer internet sucks.*

Considering the knock-off Battle Tanker that is floating around (at a 1/3 of the price of the original), I might wait for the inevitable knock-offs of Giant. If a knock-off company can make a Giant at a 1/3 of the price of the original, I might consider it. Time will tell.

I am really liking the thicker robot mode on Giant. The more-Classicsverse robot modes rather than the traditional G1 bot modes is also pretty neat. The rifle on Giant is a masterpiece too. I love that it incorporates all the rifles from the individual figures. The little trailers that become the combined mode arms actually make sense on a construction site since they look like generators to me. Kinda sucks that the combined head couldn't be camouflaged better in vehicle mode. I would have to paint the head on Hook too, but that isn't a problem. Neither is the different colored optics, but a little paint would fix that right up.

Overall, I would very much like to get this guy, but I don't think it is in the cards right now.

I like both, but the Super Roboty proportions, size, and price of Giant I like a better, I'm more annoyed by the red and blue eyes on the Constructicons than the green barrel, I mean it's like, why you gotta do that?! just make'em red. :oops:

Yeah no. I hold a double standard for this sort of thing. I don't give a s**t about KO Hasbro figures, can't possibly hurt a multi-billion dollar company. But a small 3rd party company stands to see more losses. Although I'm guessing you just couldn't afford it, meaning you'd not be able to buy it from them in the first place, thus I suppose your not really a lost customer. :-?

Either way, I think I will be starting a list for people who buy KOs of 3rd party. >:oP

I have come to the conclusion that this is to do with their personalities, if that helps at all.

Thanks to daimchoc for the heads up, MakeToys have updated their website with official versions of these two images along with the announcement that these will be released as a set for 35000 JPY. I've updated the initial post and news.

Overall he looks pretty cool. I'll never be able to afford him, but whatever oh well. By the way did anyone else notice the hook dong hanging out of his butt. Its just a liitle weird, or maybe it's just me.

I want it, but I don't know if I'll get it. Depends on reviews say (especially in terms of poseability and articulation). I would've preferred their selling strategy with the yellow version because that's too much money to drop at once. Atleast it is for me.

It's the same price as if you buy all 3 set they are $118.00 each. Nevermind they upped the price to $130 each lol that's funny I guess if you pre ordered when the first whent up you get them for $118 each because that's what I got charged for the first 2 sets and my pre order for set c still says $118.99. And this is on bbts because they still are $118 on TFsourse

Also everyone waiting for reviews to buy him I think it will be to late. He will be sold out like Hercules was well certain figures were almost all of him. I should know I waited till all 6 figures were out to get him and all major toy sellers were only pre orders for the second run which most should be restocked this month. I got lucky and found a guy on eBay in America because every seller was hong kong of somewhere else and I'd probabaly be getting my herc in just now lol. But anyways I got mine off eBay new in boxes for $680 shipped each figure was $100 plus tax and shipping so I think I pretty much got it for retail and seriously I couldn't be happier with him. And I'm buying giant yellow version and so far I like him just as much and say they can't afford him it's $100 every month for 3 months then even skipped a month between the first to sets. But if u really want him is it that hard to save $100 a month I just don't buy any retail figures that I'm not completely happy with anyways which cuts back on hunting wich cuts back on gas it all adds up and then I have more than $100 a month next is that arcee figure they delayed again cant wait for her that's another $100 lol

Perfect scale for Bruticus...as Devestator should be a little bigger but not Hercules scale. Everyone has their own taste...this works for me and my display ACTION BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!!
