i think names for 3P figures is irrelevant. who out there calls their 3P figures hercules, intimidator and quantron? no one. the minute they get in out hands, theyre devastator, menasor and computron like they should be.

it could be called the queens t*ts and it wouldnt sway my opinion of the figure itself. i did buy hard bone and grind rod after all.

anyways... i had cutthroat as a kid, so theres nostalgia value for me. also this guy might be my favorite quantron member anyways. (of coarse i dont know since hes not in hand yet, but y'know, reviews and such)

It's not Cutthroat anyways, it's Shattered Glass Strafe.

why do you have to be so negative

i dont see this as shattered glass. shattered glass isnt always the opposite, if it were then SG prime would have been silver/black/red and megatron would have been red/white/blue. so a SG computron wouldnt necessarily just steal his colors from a random decepticon combiner.

i see this as pre-beast (or cybertronian) forms of the terrorcons. to me its totally cutthroat.

In Shattered Glass, Strafe is these colors. He appeared in the TFCC comics.

Still, call him Cybertronian mode Cutthroat, call him Strafe's evil clone, call him whatever floats your boat!

I think I like this better in these colours than Strafe's. BUT since I don't know if Quantron will be released before my next pay cheque or after it, I'm not keen on throwing more money at toys yet.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying when you drift outside of the auto racing world, the term really generates a large amount of chuckles. Me being an urban guy, I can vouch for this. I once worked in a Laundromat back in the days.

I guess it depends on what generation you are part of, and probably location as well. I believe you.

I preordered one in the hopes that they'll complete the set over time.
