Still only prototype shots ? I was expecting to see some full color images of the first figure by now. Im guessing it will be afterburner since he has some color plastic. But if maketoys goes the two pack route like they did with giant, we are in for a very long wait. Im very happy with their swerve and gears, and am getting the omega supreme set, but I feel this project should have been their main focus.

Looking really good, may have to get it.

Also, they're seriously taunting us with that Six Sigma sitting next to it. Release it already! ;)

I desire The limbs bots to be basic or deluxe toy scales. While the team leader is Deluxe or Voyager Scale. I like the 3rd party TF combiners toys scales that FP & MT create.

They need to be Deluxe or bigger for me, but I like it when they're all Voyager or larger as well. I really don't like the Scout/Basic sized 'Classics' combiner bots because they're just too tiny.

As long as Computron is about the size between FP's and TFC Toy's combiners, I'll be happy.

Looks to me like it'll be about the same size as Giant. Still not really caring though, I can't remember anything about any of the Technobots for the life of me, and as much as I love MT aesthetics they can only carry me so far.

This is why I'm interested. It looks awesome! Since, at this time, Has/Tak is not giving combiners the classics treatment, I like that 3Ps are giving us this.

After Computron, I wouldn't mind MakeToys taking on Defensor. I am not liking TFC's aesthetics enough to hop on.

I'd be more into Defensor than this, because at least then I'll have one character in the team I care about.

I gotta say, this promo art looks a lot better than the prototype, IMO. I don't think that bodes well...

Bingo! I agree with you completely. I'm really excited for this to come out but MakeToys is killing me with the gift sets. I prefer the staggered release... Lol

MT Computron will be a Eleven to Twelve inch toy. Which makes MT Computron & MT Devasator the same height.

That MT Battle optimus toy in front of MT Computron is Deluxe scale. Just Visualize Two MT Battle optimus stacked on top of each other to figure out the height of MT Computron.

Think its odd for a 3rd party company to release a gestalt all at once.
Love the gift box option. Wish other 3rd party companies offered a gift box for their combiners.

Releasing MT Computron in a gift set. might bring the price down. Hoping its around $300 to $330. Would be surprised if it's more than that.

Never liked any of the 1986 Technbots robots or alt modes designs. Fiction personalites were not great or fleshed out. Will probably decide not to buy this.

If MT makes Combaticons,Aerialbots,Terrorcons. Then I could see myself seriously considering buying all of these. If FP creates Terrorcons,I'd consider buying them also.

I like the idea of a gift set in the sense that I will get the full combiner all at once but I also think that I don't get to enjoy the individual figures as much. Personal preference, of course.

And I thought we already knew Computron's scale?

That's the Eleven inches tall I speculated. hoping the smaller scale translates into cheaper price. Might get this if it cost $200 to $250

I'm out on this one.

I was pretty disappointed in FP menasor, and I don't prefer the smaller combiners anyway.

I'll wait for TFC or MMC to get around to Computron.

Just out of curiosity, do you have Giant? I think I remember you getting Herc but I couldn't remember if you double dipped or not.

Nope, just Herc.

I didn't like the individual bot modes on Giant or the need for extra pieces.

But I do have the FP upgrades for Bruticus, and a heavily customed (but not FP) Energon/Generations Superion. So Menasor fits in with them, sort of.

I had reservations about the FP Menasor from the pics, but people were raving about it, so I jumped in. Everything I didn't like from the pics/reviews, I still didn't like in hand.

So, that was the camel straw for me and the smaller scale combiners. Gotta make choices somewhere.

Computron is a favorite of mine, and one of the combiners I had as a kid, so the nostalgia string is tugging hard for this one, but I'm resisting. :D

Yeah, I can understand that. If Herc was my stand in Devestator, I wouldn't go for this either. I don't think the TFC aesthetic goes well with that of MT or FP.
As far as build quality & stability goes, Giant is better than FP's Menasor IMO. So hopefully Computron continues that trend.

Where's your neck Computron?

I am excited about the figure. I remember the Technobots best in the IDW comics, but realize that most people don't read them.

I have Herc & M3, and think they go pretty well together. TFC just nailed the big boxy construction vehicles look, which in my opinion, contrasts (and scales) nicely with the slender sports/race car limbs on M3. I think they'll look more cohesive as a squadron of gestalts once I complete Feral Rex - I think the aesthetics each company brings to those 3 really highlights their different personalities, but that's just me. The slight height differences don't bother me much, either.

Computron... we'll see. I want to see color renders or prototypes, but right now I have no plans to get this.
