Mooncake put the link up a few posts before you, so we have it covered.![]()
I'm afraid these guys are going to be like FP Roadbuster for me. With a decent Hasbro version of Swerve coming out, I don't think I can justify the money for these guys. It's a great set. The price point is decent for what they are. I like the comics and the idea behind that My First Blaster blaster. It's just not enough to grab my money at this time.
The price differential is not as extreme though between these and the Hasbro figures. Plus if the Hasbro figures are scarce the price gap will be smaller. And IMO these are way better than the Hasbro figures whereas I think FP Roadbuster looks to only be marginally better than the official version. Get 'em dude...
Such a sales person!
I am very close to pulling the trigger. Gah, I usually only get 3P if Has/Tak are not doing the character. I probably would not have gotten Defender if it were on sale today, even though I really like the figure.
GAH!

Wait why didn't you order them? I only found out about it being available at AR from your post.
Thanks btw! =]

I posted that while I was still on campus xD. By the time I got home they were sold out of everything.

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.

Rated X wrote:What sold me on these is that BBTS had them listed as being 4 inches tall. Thats the same scout height of RTS windcharger. Legends are just over 3 inches which is way too small. I dont see why anybody would even waste their time with the legends versions when these are properly scaled and reasonably priced as a set.

They are a touch shorter than RTS Windcharger.

You sure, Windcharger came up to the 4 inch mark on my ruler. if they are legends scale Im cancelling. I need to see some comparison pics with legends swerve.

Banjo-Tron wrote:X, Don't worry, look at this pic from page 4, definitely more scout than legends. You are all set.
Then there is this pic from page 3, Maketoys version is taller and bulkier than the legends version, but not much, I suspect that the new legends class figures have grown and now sit somewhere between the typical legends scale and scout scale.

Thanks. That first pic is exactly what I need to feel comfortable. The 2nd pic makes em look small though. It must be the bent knees.

I know what you mean, Windcharger is my ideal size for figures of this nature too. My main concern is tailgate which I wish was just a Windcharger retool. The new tailgate figure looks very poor, so hopefully Maketoys will look at some more minibots if these do well . I wouldnt be averse to a new Brawn and Outback as well.

I agree Tailgate is too small.

Is that a custom? Or is that a Tailgate repaint?
