Mooncake put the link up a few posts before you, so we have it covered. :D

I'm afraid these guys are going to be like FP Roadbuster for me. With a decent Hasbro version of Swerve coming out, I don't think I can justify the money for these guys. It's a great set. The price point is decent for what they are. I like the comics and the idea behind that My First Blaster blaster. It's just not enough to grab my money at this time.

The price differential is not as extreme though between these and the Hasbro figures. Plus if the Hasbro figures are scarce the price gap will be smaller. And IMO these are way better than the Hasbro figures whereas I think FP Roadbuster looks to only be marginally better than the official version. Get 'em dude...

Such a sales person!

I am very close to pulling the trigger. Gah, I usually only get 3P if Has/Tak are not doing the character. I probably would not have gotten Defender if it were on sale today, even though I really like the figure.

GAH! :BOOM:

Just but the MFB for Hasbro's swerve. I heard it's too small cause it uses a 4mm peg instead of 5mm. but you can always use some tape.

Rattled I didn't get in on the AR order. The prices for these and the fact that they're pre-orders has put this on the back burner for now.

What sold me on these is that BBTS had them listed as being 4 inches tall. Thats the same scout height of RTS windcharger. Legends are just over 3 inches which is way too small. I dont see why anybody would even waste their time with the legends versions when these are properly scaled and reasonably priced as a set.

Bought and bought... though with some trepidation over the price of the MFB. $13 for a single BIY accessory?

Where did you get the MFB?

EDIT: oh, nevermind. You're right, it's a bit expensive. And shipping to Spain will make it ridiculously overpriced for a simple extra gun... :(

Not sure if I want these now. They are expensive and Swerve's gun sold separately is a turn down.

X, Don't worry, look at this pic from page 4, definitely more scout than legends. You are all set.
Image
Then there is this pic from page 3, Maketoys version is taller and bulkier than the legends version, but not much, I suspect that the new legends class figures have grown and now sit somewhere between the typical legends scale and scout scale.

I know what you mean, Windcharger is my ideal size for figures of this nature too. My main concern is tailgate which I wish was just a Windcharger retool. The new tailgate figure looks very poor, so hopefully Maketoys will look at some more minibots if these do well . I wouldnt be averse to a new Brawn and Outback as well.

I've pre-ordered both the figure set and the shooter. The MFB I'll definitely be getting. I haven't read the comic yet so maybe it's an inaccurate comparison, but it puts me in mind of the Noisy Cricket from Men In Black.

It's weird to think that not that long ago we were desperate for some form of Classics Gears and Swerve, and here we are with three of each. (Four if you include SXS's and the GDO figures.) I certainly think MakeToy's figures are the best. Now I just need to stare at them until I'm OK with the fairly Cybertronian alt. modes.

I really didn't like what MakeToys did with Hover and Bomber, but if they felt like taking a crack at the rest of the Mini-bots and doing them like this then I'd be very interested indeed.
