Yep, it's here.

I know that one....!
I can hear the conversation now...
(I answer the door to the postman and he chucks a huge box at me)
"How much was that"
"Erm... I got a good deal"
She still thinks I got City Commander for £20
I started selling some figures that I didn't care much since last year to make some extra money for this guy. And as soon as the preorder was up, I ordered him and told my wife how much it could cost. Her first response was "I'm going to add a lock on your study room door". Yea, I can let FP Protector and FP Bruticus upgrade set slip through but I'm sure not this one.
Back to topic. Since either Hasbro or Takara has nothing interest me now, this could be my only purchase for rest of the year and I'm really excited about it. And I totally don't mind the new head. Fortunately the original one is included and the extra head is a very nice bonus.

Thanks for the pics, they confirm everything I thought about how they would stack up - Herc is great, but Green Giant is just better. Better proportions, better looks and i even prefer the more G1 accurate colour.
Bravo Maketoys. Now make me something else that other companies aren't.......for a nice change of pace.

The "rage" set does indeed give Herc some odd proportions.
Don't think I'll be using it.
Classics Magnus/Skywarp 2 pack MIB
Classics Devastator MIP
HA Sideswipe K-Mart exclusive color Loose
Currently looking for:
ROTF Target exclusive Sideswipe from the 2-pack
TFCC Punch/Counterpunch
Alternity Primes, silver & white versions
(opened is OK, to be used for customs)
PM If interested

Same here. I already re-arrange and leave a big chunk of space for him. The comparison picture is great. He doesn't look much smaller than Herc.

You do know about Battle Tanker and Mobine, right?
Not to mention the tasty teaser image they have on their website.

Computron? Let's hope. (Are there any other Autobots who end in 'tron'? Thought it was a Decep only thing)
Hercules looks like a really good cosplay of Devastator. Giant IS Devastator. Also, I would love to see maketoys have a go at the Protectobots.

Only one I can think of is the anagram for Ironfist, Fisitron. Fun little fact though...
Kinda ironic, eh?

I really want Giant, but I'm struggling to find the money to commit to a second Devastator.

For those of you that are getting both how will you work both into your classics shelf?
Botcon Redux Spark (Pyro)
"Comfort is the death of creativity "
"My country is the world... and my religion is to do good"

The Japanese name for Decepticons is Destrons and most the Destron subgroups also had 'tron' in it to solidify the association. Just like with Megatron and Galvatron. So, they changed Computron's name to Computicon for the Japanese market, even though 'ticon' was usually used in the same way in the english speaking market for Decepticon subgroups.
Kinda ironic, eh?
Nice story! So the Japanese realised the evil connotations of the name even if the US didn't.
What's wrong with 'Compubot', apart from, well, everything?

The videos I've seen with the yellow version look really stable. As the reviewer said several times, he was shooting this with them on an uneven surface.
The waist and upper body definitely looked more stable and secure than Hercules IMO.
