KEE-RIPES! that was painful. Apparently my strategy of driving so badly that you laugh uncontrollably and lose focus isn't working.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. I was expecting you to finish in the top 4 at worst. I was stunned when you finished last in that first race.

Be amazed, for I have a vast variety of superhuman powers within the Mario Kart realm. These powers include:
1) the ability to cross entire rows of item blocks without collecting a single item.
2) the uncanny knack to always be aiming towards a cliff when the bullet bill weapon wears off.
3) the ability to hit myself with my own RED shell (that one takes true suckage)

it didn't help that you also kicked me off the bridge at the end of race 2.

Yeah, I lol'd on that one. It's happened to me many times, so it becomes rather funny when you are on the delivering end.

I still say the worst is getting hit by a blue shell, then a red one. Happens to me often, and it pisses me off.

I've always wondered how people hit themselves with a red shell. It looks a truly amazing skill, and isn't easy to master


Blue red combo. Ack. That's what the euro-cheaters use to claim pole position. I hate cheaters.


I wonder if we'll hear any more on the expanded chat features and booting system that's in development?

It takes good luck and awesome timing, or if you're the person actually getting hit by your own shell, bad luck and horrible timing. From what I could tell, I fired my red shell at an enemy on my left. At that exact moment, another guy passed on my right. The shell decided to home in on the guy on the right and decided the quickest path was right through me. D'OH!

The only time I hit myself with shells is when I have triple shells and lightning strikes. Shells fall off, I spin right into them. 1-2 punch.
