Nobody knew he was married until Age of Ultron! :D. And I have to agree, I never thought there was much tension between them in the first.

And if Burn was indeed referring to the romance between Sharon and Cap, then yes, it was in the comics. But it wasn't so awkward. Of course, it's hard to gauge the chemistry of characters whose emotions are conveyed through art rather than acting, but I just feel like Emily VanCamp was just...not that into Steve.

Is this your opinion, or do you have medical data to back up your statement?

there are plenty of physiological studies done involving the levels of awareness and "auto pilot" like behaviors, many such studies involve sleep walkers

thats where my information comes from, study and treatment for my sleepwalking and other sleep actions
No, I don't believe I ever saw that.

if you want i can point you to said episodes

Peggy was never his gf, yes he loved her but they never got together

but i do feel they did not develop this new budding relationship well

well to be fair, the first Hulk film is not part of the "marvel franchise" aka the marvel cinematic universe

It's not that it doesn't fit, it's that it's a crap series.

Enough with the Star Trek talk, we have a thread for that.

Well, if I recall correctly, the conversation involved three distinct romances: Cap/Sharon, Cap/Widow, and Banner/Widdow. So, you know, a little specificity would be nice.

As has been said Cap and Peggy never really did get together, the romance was beginning in the first Captain america, but then he got frozen and she moved on. I believe its even suggested in the Agent Carter TV show that she will have a potential new love interest there.

As far as Agent 13 and Steve, it is implied that their relationship had been ongoing since Winter Soldier off screen. Its only in Civil war that they finally kiss.

Its been what 18 months since Ultron, and a bit more since Winter Soldier? Plenty of time for Steve to make piece with Peggy, and get to know Sharon.

With that said, yes, there is very little chemistry in that scene between Steve and Sharon. But they may still flesh it out later.

As far as the Black Widow goes, she had tension with Hawkeye in the first Avengers movie, but it was always established they were just very good friends. And with everything she reveals to Banner in Age of Ultron, I thinks its clear she wants a relationship with him, and is only a good friend to Steve.

Not sure what this might mean for Betty Ross though.

Went to see X Men Apocalypse yesterday, aye it was a good film ;)

the only nitpicks I have are that Apocalypse only seemed to be used as this sort of enhancement device for the other recruited members powers.....now whether he played out that way in the comics I dunno? as I don't read the comics ;) It just felt a bit one dimensional.....that's all, the other nitpick is Wolverine....as they could've at least gave Hugh some dialogue & of course I was half expecting him to turn up at the end to help fight Apocalypse, but unfortunately it was a no show, other than that it was a good enough film....not great, and certainly not as good as Days Of Future Past

No he wasn't like that in the comics or the 90s show or even the 00s X Men evolution series.

Okay, yes, right, he did "experiment" on them and enhanced their abilities that way. The way Stewey made it sound was like that was his mutant ability or something, to enhance the powers of those around him. But yes, he used magic/science to do so. Now I'm on the same page as you, Sto.

So I know this is for TVs and movies but I'm not seeing a comic thread...

Anyone want to talk about what the hell Captain America just did in the comics? It's so stupid I'm not even going to bother with spoiler tags; Steve Rogers has been an Agent of Hydra since before he became Captain America. The character created by two Jewish men has, in fact, been a Nazi collaborator the entire time. The character who is the reason Hydra hasn't gotten anything done for the past 70 years has also been working for them.

I can't imagine Nick Spencer is going to be working for very long...
