Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
I saw it as well. While I wouldn't say HOLY BALLS, it was pretty damn good. To anyone on the fence about it, I definitely recommend it.Cyber Bishop wrote:Saw no Way Home at a advanced sneak peek... HOLY BALLS.... Ill discuss more after more have seen it.

First-Aid wrote:For those going to see it, there is one mid-credit scene related to an upcoming Spider-man plot line and one post credit "scene"- in quotes because it is essentially a trailer for Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness...and it reveals one dimension-punching character that we had no idea was coming!

How did Doc Ock initially know that Osborn is the Green Goblin? It was never made public in Sony's movies.
Why was Electro even in the movie? The spell was supposed to pull anyone who knew Peter was Spidey into this universe, but Electro never knew Spidey's identity in their movies.
Why did none of the 3 Peters' Spidey senses go off right before Osborn stabbed his version of Peter? They were all right there.

Electro is a weird one. Its implied by Spider-Andrew and even Dr. Connors that this is not the same electro as the one from Amazing Spider-Man 2 since he has hair, not a comb over, and an entirely different costume. Electro supposedly died in Amazing Spider-Man 2 and yes never found out there. So either he did not die, and he's from further in the future of the Amazing Spider-Man Universe where he eventually grows his hair and gets a new costume and finds out Peter is Spider-Man or he's from a different universe that also has Andrew as Spider-Man and where he did not die and knows Peter is Spider-Man.
Electro in that movie was entirely blue. Had a combover in human form but was entirely bald as Electro.

He clearly states that he went into full energy form in and out of the internet gaining power then as he was about to reveal himself he showed up in the MCU. Also at first he was blue when Spidey saw him hovering above the power linesBurn wrote:Technically Sinister Six when you take into account the mid-credits scene.
Except Venom is not considered "evil" or a villain in the Sonyverse.

What the hell. A while back the mods made a rule where we had to use spoiler tags for the 1st 2 weekends of a new movie we talked about, so everyone had the chance to see it without it inadvertently being ruined for them.First-Aid wrote:I am loving just how much spoiler coverage text is being used in this thread. Technically Sinister Six when you take into account the mid-credits scene.

1 major note I want to address that made me very happy: I have and always have enjoyed Garfield's Spider Man, and am still very sad his trilogy was never complete. It made me very happy when he caught MJ and in a way helped spiritually redeem himself for his failure to save Gwen. To me, he shone in the movie, and it reminded me how much I did love him and also how good a Spider Man he actually was

Whoa!! Thats it exactly!
I would too, and maybe now that Disney/Marvel and Sony are playing nice, Sony might realize that it would be a winner, assuming Garfield wants to do it and they come up with at least 1 credible villain. I would love to see an honest effort put into the Hobgoblin, and only him.Overcracker wrote:I'd still love to see a third AG Amazing Spider-Man movie in his own universe with his own villains now.
