Right.
1.) To begin, you're gonna want to create some bots. I wouldn't suggest too many at the start, as your funds are quite limited for now.
I'd say a maximum of three until your energon count is a little more substantial.
2.) You know how to create a bot right? Go to registry, click 'new bot', select an alt mode- if you want one- and a name, and click ok at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest going to 'options' from the registry menu and turning off auto-CR for now. As I've said, your funds are quite small.
3.) Now that you've created some bots, you'll need weapons.
X-ray blasters are the best no-stat weapons, but if they're scarce go for the disrupter rifles instead.
You're all ready to begin!
Go with missions to begin with, and always check each mission to make sure that there is a good chance of your team winning.
eg I always make sure that there are equal numbers of each level in a mission before entering it. Or better, make sure that your team has superior level numbers eg 3 level 1s on the con side, 2 level 1s on the bot side.
Once you've got some xp together, you can upgrade your bots!
I suggest that before you upgrade them, go to the Darkmount forums and ask the vets about optimal setups. You can't go wrong with their advice. Also, take the time to check out Tammuz's weapons table. It details the stats of each weapon eg reload time, average dammage dealt, stats required for use.
Also, if you really need weapons help, ask the guys in the darkmount forums whether you can get some new, powerful weaponary off of them. Quite a few stockpile weapons for things like this.
