While this looks decent, I'm just not feeling it... it just doesn't look like a Transformer to me. I like my bots a bit more "blocky". Will have to see what the combined mode ends up looking like...

I agree 100%! Nova Prime isn't exactly a character that's had a lot of interpretations over 30 years, he's been drawn in basically one design, and I'd be fairly surprised if anyone wanting a toy of the character wants it in anything but the Don Figueroa style. I'd take that kind of departure in design at a Hasbro price-point, but as a 3rd party product, I'd like it perfect, or not at all. Then again, we'll see. Maybe they'll sell it super cheap like the Twin Twist and Topspin that just got revealed, and then I'd consider it.

You do know that that was already done before by master collectors, right? Though, it wasn't released due to issues with some of the partners.

Now THAT looks like a Transformer!! Yes... I think most 3P enthusiasts like myself are aware of that figure, which never happened. That's what I, and most others who want a Nova Prime want. It's a tragedy that project never went through... but there's no reason MMC can't do something similar instead of this medieval-looking Tron-figure. No offense to MMC, I just don't like it... at all... and it's a bit depressing after I've already seen how it can easily be done right.
