Besides, haven't we been speculating this for some time now? Its at least cool to have it confirmed- now all that's left is for us to worry if it'll be released internationally or not (half joking, but I wouldn't be too surprised...)

So MP08 will be Thundercracker then.

This should be interesting, will he be as good as MP01-02 or will he suffer from some issues like MP05?

I'm just concerned that we might run into problems with rust and breaking parts like we did with MP Megatron whom I still haven't opened due to those concerns.

No, but he could be repainted two times (blue and turqoise) + if the first version will be not even closely relative to the original + I can believe there will be the matt grey and the metallic version + the battle damage version of Hasbro...

It's cool that we are getting a Dinobot as a Masterpiece, but seriously, the original toy is already show accurate. I would really been pleased with something else.

This is fantastic news! Boy oh boy oh boy!

I have all the MP figures so far, and Grimlock as No. 6, I just can't f'ing wait!

If Grimlock is even 50% as great as the past masterpieces are (No, i didn't have any rust problems with megs), this will be a fantastic figure.

I can't image what sweet stuff they will improve on from the original!

The only thing I would imagine they could improve on would be the size & the articulation. I mean, if they want him show accurate, there's not much they'd be able to do with his transformation, so better articulation would just about be the only other thing they could do.

That's what alot of people have said for the other 3 molds, and look what we have ended up with. I am expecting something special!

yeah for real, I visited my favorite toy shop and the guy told me this was confirmed and next afterwards was Thundercracker. I was in shock so when I got home I checked out Seibertron and BAM there it was Grimlock for the next MP =].

They have somewhat of a pattern going by having a new mold followed by a repaint/remold. Thundercracker will probably have a new face gimmick by Skywarp.

Not to rain on anyones parade, but don't forget the last hot and really, really true "news" coming from that source. (Though that one was probably a misinterpretation, there is a red Starscream (Toshiba) after all, and Megatron and Optimus were rereleased at the same time as complete versions, just in the Revoltech line.)

I find it a bit weird, that a Chinese site posts something looking like an excerpt from a Japanese magazine, without giving the source or us having seen further pictures from that magazine (some people are bound to have what ever magazine that's supposed to be).
The text next to the picture doesn't mention Transformers even once, it goes on and on about Gundam.

I for my part will wait for something a bit more official.
