Sabrblade is correct on both counts. I've also taken the liberty of editing this topic's title to the Official Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-20 Wheeljack Discussion, let's try to keep all further MP Wheeljack info, teasers, images, discussion, etc. in this topic.

As for Wheeljack, he looks great! I really hate to see Shogo leaving the MP line :-x

with the launcher upgrades for the Datsun boys, I'd be surprised if we didn't see a 3rd party tackle the light-up ears. IF T/T don't do it.

Other than that both modes look great. This was another one I had as a kid, so am very tempted.

This thing looks incredible, even though I don't buy masterpiece transformers this will be hard not to get. I hope he comes with his negavator or a little Chip Chase to help him out, hehe.

That was a undersized 10 $ dollar hasbro duluxe, even though it was a good one it was not my liking, you know I only like the best of the best figures, and this is a for a collector's detailed mp Wheeljack. I'm a have him battle tfp Optimus. I have no Wheeljack because I inew that some would do a great Wheeljack eventually one day and Takara has just about answered by transformer dreams.

Amazing. He's pretty much everything I was hoping for. The alt mode is astounding, and the bot mode is satisfyingly-realistic ye-cartoony at the same time. Now the agonizing wait begins!

How many Masterpiece has Takara done now? 20? How many of those haven't been somehow repurposed into other characters? 3?

I say they wouldn't do Wheeljack if they couldn't get at least a Sunstreaker out of it.

There will be no excuse for Wheeljack not to have a light up gimmick masterpiece optimus prime had it, masterpiece grimlock had it no reason he won't we should not have to pay extra for things that should have been included in the first place.

While there is little information that was not previously reported, such as the release in August 2014, one extra part is revealed in the listing: the accessory exclusive to the online retailer - Wheeljack's anti-hypnosis device, seen in the original G1 'The Ultimate Doom' three-parter episode!
