It happened to me too for a few minutes. it went away though
william-james88 wrote:HLJ: They are pricier than others, at 18400 Yen ($168.61 USD) and that is because they offer the most perks. Like stateside vendors, you do not need to pay ahead of time and you can cancel your order at any time before it is in stock. They will write out the full amount of the product's worth on the customs form and since this product is above a price treshold, they will only use the pricier (and faster) shipping option.
Price of total for 3-4 day shipping: 22900 Yen ($209.85 USD)

Technically, there is no Free shipping. The cost is already incorporated to the product. Same thing with some ebay products/vendors.

Yeah, it would be anime export or nippon yassan (for about 140-145 pounds) but you have to write to them to ensure that they write a low declared value of the figure on the customs form. The links are in the article.

Its definitely free compared to BBTS. If the shipping was already incorporated then why does BBTS charge shipping on top when both their price and TFSource's price is the same?
Anyways, thanks for all the extra tips, I added them to the guide. Crazy how rules are changing as we speak. I will change the spread sheet tonight with some yellow to mean "not sure".

When you run a business, there is no such a thing as a free ride. You are in it for profit. The cost overruns is already incorporated for the entire stock/inventory.

So answer me this: why does TF Source not charge for shipping when other sites do (for orders above $150) when all websites have the same price? Are you saying that the other sites are more greedy than them?

fenrir72 wrote:Speaking of a different business model, comparing different sites is wrong. Apples are apples, oranges are oranges. One company maybe US based, let's say Texas where the business tax rates are low while another maybe California or overseas where the tax rates are higher. Those factor in on how you charge for your goods. The "others" aren't so much as greedy as they are unable to give out "special offers".
I though you should have known better than putting out blanket statements of "Are you saying that the other sites are more greedy than them?"
D-Maximus_Prime wrote:But in the case of BBTS for me: the cheapest shipping I can get to my place for a deluxe class figure is $13. That is almost as much as the figure. I tried it out for MP SG Prime: my shipping was going to be $30! And he's the same price between the 2!
