Thank God
Oh lordy, somehow that's a lot harder to look at than any case of GPS or modern toy breakage; and these aren't even figures I've ever played with! I think it's the extra rust and dirt on them, gives them an extra nightmarish feel. Like I'm staring at a field of Cybertronian corpses.

So we not only have to just be careful with the figure but also USE THE INSTRUCTIONS! This is not, repeat, NOT a TF toy whose transformation is to be trifled with. I understand the want to figure out the transformation without help, but for something like this, let's all make an exception and give due respect to MP-36's instructions, lest we all suffer a similar barrel breakage.Powered Convoy wrote:Based on what I read, the two (yes there was another) people who have broken the gun barrel have done so by accidentally sticking the silencer on the wrong way. And then broke it trying to get it off.

what does this mean
unfinished?
Sabrblade wrote:Okay, guys, fellow user Powered Convoy has (elsewhere) brought to light some good news that should alleviate some fears about these reported breakage issues with MP-36's gun barrel:

Because you never do that *cough* titan class transformers

Doesnt matter. If you meant only some MPs shouldnt be transformed, you should have done so instead of writing in absolutes like below:fenrir72 wrote:MPs are indeed not meant to be transformed multiple times unless you have deep pockets.
If you only meant some, write which ones.
SpaceKaseJase wrote:My Megatron is on its way, so I have no idea whether there will be QC issues with it or not. My biggest concern is whether or not Takara will fix/replace these figs. Doubt the vendor will considering this happens during transformation. Anyone contacted Takara yet? I'm currently working in my brain how repairs can be made should this happen to my fig. Perhaps those more talented than I can begin creating 3d printed replacement parts a-la Shapeways. I only paid $167 USD for mine (with shipping), but I still feel it is WAY overpriced considering the QC issues. $230 is friggin highway robbery.

Transforming is the entire point. I transform ALL of my MP figures, both 3rd party and official, at least twice a month, if not more. Zero issues, until Grapple.
Again, transforming is the entire point. What the hell is the point if a $200 transformer, if it isn't safe to transform? Please answer me that.[/quot
My answer is, like a moth to the flame. You already know you gonna get Burned so what will you do? You already know it gonna hurt and still?
Do a Lisa Simpson? Btw I thought you loved Grapple and despised Inferno? Another change of heart? This is soooooooooo confusing IHD
no he got his mmc bakdraft back.
of course theres already breakage. courtesy of takara.
i could transform an apollyon more than mp-36 without breakge or paint chipping. isnt that sad.
Then go enjoy your Apollyon on the 3rd party thread "X"![]()
Kinda weird that on the 3rd party threads, you praise the 1st party and vice versa in the official threads. A little consistency puhleeze!
im giving an example on a figure that has more moving parts than mp-36. im not talking directly about him saying x can do this or x can do that, it was just a comparison.
i only praise the 1st party if theyve done it right. this hasnt been done right.
Why are you calling him "X"?fenrir72 wrote:Bumblebee21 wrote:fenrir72 wrote:Then go enjoy your Apollyon on the 3rd party thread "X"![]()

Naw. I've seen that pattern before. Criticize for the sake o' doing so. Whatever satisfies you kicks X.

They only/possibly will replace domestic customers (Takara). In my case, Amiami replaced a defective part of my MP Beast Convoy because I was awesomely polite to them. I did NOT demand an immediate refund but wrote to them nicely!![]()
The damaged came right out of the box. But if the damages was due to our "heavy handed" manipulation, I highly doubt them to replace the fig.
The risks of buying foreign/overseas etc.
Just follow the 5 step intervention therapy I posted a few posts back.

Whats your problem with me. Tell me right now. And why in the **** do you keep calling me "X".
I'm getting real tired of this real fast.

Given that our News Crew works on a voluntary basis, and have no formal education in journalism, such a criticism is unfair.
But we get it though, our News and Forum crew don't meet your obviously high standards. If you have criticism or even suggestions to share, please do so via e-mail instead of using the forums to criticise staff and drive topics off-topic.
-edit-
Would have posted sooner, but had Reps come into the office.
As the Cobotron said, this is about MP-36 Megatron. Let's get back to that.
