MP Ironhide and Ratchet have butts made out of tires, and MP Hound won't be available until months after MP Bumblebee 2.0. I think bots who live in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones.

So Starscream, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning. See Starscream, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you it's all a wash?carytheone wrote:Here's a question that popped into my head this morning. Did Takara or Hasbro expect this new Bee to be well received? One would assume so, otherwise why release it?
Based on what I've read here, at TFW and social media, it's getting universally panned and people are having a hard time finding any real positives. With that being said, is Takara and Hasbro completely oblivious to what fans want? Or are they just really cocky? If they are actually that out of touch, what does that say for the MP line as a whole?

Yeah, this scream 'rush job' to me, especially as hound continues to tease us at all of these events
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I agree, it feels like they should have done better and could have. Hound was shown to us in JULY and here we are 7 months later and he's still just a gray prototype. I really feel he got pushed back, and maybe Bee was shoved in front of not just him, but Blackarachnia too. I think it was supposed to go Hound -> BA -> Bee, but they moved him to get released right after Prime

Accidentally.

For example, I was looking at one of those "expensive" non-transforming statues the other day (probably around $200) and I thought to myself that normally for that price I'd expect it to transform. That's when I realized that my expectations have been shifted.
Well played HasTak, well played

Bee's growing on me, but I'll wait for it to hit half price on Amazon JP.

I did and was disappointed when I saw the real like alt mode of MP21.Michael Alex Kawa wrote:I just want to know.....did anyone ask for a Chibi/Penny Racer/Screen Accurate vehicle mode?
Yes.Cyberpath wrote:Question for the board -- does anyone still want an MP Cliffjumper after seeing the new MP Bumblebee?
Yes (well not the price, see below). I feel if this mold would have been announced as CliffyJ (with a SD Porsche shell) it would have been better received. Hell it may have even been well received because it wouldn't have been another redo that didn't necessarily make any improvements.Cyberpath wrote:Let me clarify the question -- MP Cliffjumpter: new mold, but same "style" -- same pros & cons as MP-45. I'm already on the 3P/KO boat half way to China because of pricing and toon aesthetic.-Kanrabat- wrote:I'll be a "traitor" and go full Third Party.
