Something gets sacrificed somewhere to pull it off, from fake wheels and pretend windshields to overly complicated (and often therefore fragile) transformations, we usually end up with a less than perfect toy. Often one mode looks great, while the other is less so.
In my humble opinion, it is better to just focus on making a good toy with good articulation and a good transformation, and let the show focus on being the show.

In this picture, it looks like her spider mode could potentially be a Titan Class Headmaster. I can't unsee it!

Maybe we'll see another Maximal next! Tigertron would be a likely candidate given the slightly larger but similar transformation as Cheetor.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:BluePhirePB wrote:All things considered, they did an amazing bot mode!
Agreed.
I'll say again what I said when the first pictures dropped. If they had simply bothered to conceal the gold of her bot mode legs in Beast Mode, she would have looked fantastic in both modes. As it stands, they clearly concentrated their efforts on the Bot Mode, whereas the other Beast War MP's to date seem to have had an equal level of focus.
It is concerning for the other Predacons. Aside from Terrorsaur, they are all bugs of various types. All traditionally didn't follow the overall shellformer aesthetic of the Maximals. This should be even more the case in Masterpiece. I dread to think how Waspinator or Inferno could look at this point.

I think we can pretty much guarantee that no Transmetals who were not in the show will be getting Masterpieces.haldand wrote:BluePhirePB wrote:Maybe we'll see another Maximal next! I'm hoping for an Airazor. In fact, an updated Transmetal Airazor would be sweet!

Gelshark, however, would have a decent chance, but probably not for a good number of years (or via a fan-determined event like the poll that brought about Star Saber).AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I think we can pretty much guarantee that no Transmetals who were not in the show will be getting Masterpieces.
Indeed. As much as I'd love to see TM Rhinox or Cybershark (in any form) in the MP line, it is extremely doubtful.
