maybe I should be smart and pursue other avenues of obtaining it.

I'm with you Bonger. For once, I don't want to buy it online only to find it in stores two days later - before I get the one I bought in the mail. This has happened to me a couple of times (Target G1 Jazz is the most recent example).

Takara are either really weird or really smart, if they had done starscream in anime colours from the start, we would all have him and be buying the inevitable justitoys coronation kit by now.

I have a 1 hour commute, a busy work schedule, and a four month old. I just don't have the time now... although I do like the hunt. The good news is, SS will be here by next Mon-Tues. I probably should have waited but I really didn't want to miss him.

Congrats on your pending addition. Our boy was born last June. His name is Sam-loved the name coinciding with the movie release (not that we chose it because of it). One of these days, I'm going to post a pict. of my Sam with Bumblebee.

I got one of these at Wal-mart this morning. He's pretty.....although I don't remember him having those big fuselage pieces on his legs.

I haven't been keeping up to date. Has he been spotted in Ohio yet? I checked one Walmart about 5 days ago and there was nothing. Though I have 3 other ones I can check. Just curious if it's worth going on a long ass drive or not.

Nope... no reports in ohio yet as far as I know. I've been keeping a watch on all of them around columbus...

I still don't see MP SS in the sightings section.... Am I just missing it?

Well... according to mail routes usually Atlanta gets product a couple days after Houston. We know LA got shipments.

as usual, nothing in the montgomery county, pennsylvania area. btw, one manager told me the item number which is 756264. just in case the upc doesn't work or the employee you're talking to is a moron, which is always the case with me, try the item number.

Most retailers have major distribution centers around Kentucky- since thats one of UPS' main shipping centers.

Finally got one! Badass figure, if there ever was one. Love the detail, love the features, love that he can hold the Megatron gun that came with Optimus...Maybe my favorite Transformer.

On another note, I wrote in the sightings forum about where I found one, but just in case people from Austin, TX aren't checking there...They had about 12 more at the Wal-Mart on East Ben White and IH 35.
