I guess I offended you, because I seem to remember you mentioning selling 3 of them on ebay for over $95 earlier in this thread...
Of course I agreed to pay the price, because I don't want to drive all over the place to find something that may be gone by the time I get it. It still doesn't change the fact that I bought it from someone who just wanted to flip it.
I really just wanted to give people who care a heads up that they were closing lower than usual. A good sign for those of us who are too far to hunt.

Not too bad, and the way I see it, I've already spent $15 in gas looking for the damn thing and I'm not gonna waste any more. That's a 35 mile trip every time I look and they don't even know if they're getting it at all.
For those of you who don't think you'll be able to get one, the ebay auctions in the next couple of hours are reasonable.
Still, feels lame getting burned by a scalper.

-Dan

60 plus shipping does not sound bad to me. Koolyoyz wants 100 plus shipping and that's like 129 cdn total after taxes. I consider what you got excellent. I paid 60 for mine including shipping.

That's right, not everyone has walmart in your city within a reasonable distance. If the price on ebay could compensate for the time and gas to get the figure, why not? even though we're still buying at a scalper price IMO.

OK, I have to add that the detailing in SS is freaking awesome!!! I loved the original SS last year. So different and so fun to pose. Then came Skywarp, one of my favorite Transformers, who looks so good all in black. Now we have the original animated SS who's detailing is just awesome. It's like Hasbro finally said, " hey, let's black wash a figure and see how good he looks." SS looks so good in the box, I really almost hate to open him. Once I take a few photos, I'm going to post the photos and crack him open. Can't wait for you all to get him.

No offense was taken. But it just pisses me off no-end the way some folks around here throw around the word "scalper" 90% of my movie collection was paid for by profits from the 2010 Bumblebee sales. I call it free enterprise not scalping. Ask yourself this, if this was the situation with hot wheels, or barbies would you consider it "scalping"???
Or is it only considered that on this message board because it pertains to a toy that we all collect here.
You seem pretty level headed and I do appreciate that :D

Not sure if this is hope for the people in PA... noticed an ebay auction from Pitt. I'd start checking your local Walmarts if I were you.

I agree with Deceptiwho?, I use to work at walmart, dont need them to tell me some bullcrap that they dont have access to a telezone, most of the employees at night have a telezone with them, at least at my store over 90% had them.. hell I even had one, tell me also that they cant do it over the phone, that the upc is not going to help..

I am so happy Starscream has been delayed in Japan. I am going to be in Japan mid February anyway on vacation. I now have something else to look forward to. Good going.

Yeah, I get the term "scalper" being harsh on here.. I just really wanted to find it myself, but like a lot of people I'm impatient. Water under the bridge..
I'm not making much cash at work right now myself, so I completely understand one's motivation for selling things on ebay. Glad there's no hard feelings or anything, I've been a lurker on here for a while and wanted to be a part of the conversation without getting heated.

This sounds much like my journal entries lately. My favorite part was when the toy manager cocked his head at me and said, "Wwwhhhhaaattt????".
