I've checked four Wal-Marts in the Elgin area and found nothing. It'll probably be a week or two until this area gets any.

I'll post here and in the sightings thread if I see any.

someone says "i found *this* here.."
everyone thinks:
"omg, that must mean it's at mine!! must go ravage the store like a bloody thirsty animal."
and then we read things like:
"the manager says they had one and they will never get anymore, and i believe him."
or
"the guy told me he heard from this guy in the warehouse that they all shipped and there was only one case per shipment!"
now, besides alt's ravage and rumble..
most wally world exclusives just kinda show up and you can't walk down the isle without tripping over them..
and anyways, most toys priced 50 bucks and higher don't go too quick.
every place i saw this weekend had oodles of ult bb's, death stars, all the leader class figs.
it ain't christmas yet, so don't worry too much.
one morning you'll wake up and stumble into walmart, and 15 starscreams will be laughing at you in the face.
at least, that's how i imagine it.

Yea, if everyone helps out each other, we should all get one, the only problems is that at my local WM, last time they got a shipment of OP, some "collector" came in and bought them all before I even got one, but if they are getting in 15 or so at a time for a total of 40+ per store, I don't see anyone buying that many at one time, but who knows ?

Hopefully all of us calling these stores is helping this figure there faster.

Then they'll either be there tonight, or tomorrow. When it's in transit, that means they're coming from the warehouse to the store on the trucks, and they take 1-3 days for an item to hit the shelves (or even be in the store, period).

The microscopic number of stores that got them last week were a total fluke. You are just going to drive yourself and the Walmart employees batshit crazy if you go into full-on fanboy freakshow mode this early. This toy will not be available to the VAST majority of us until well over a month from now. Plain and simple. By black friday they'll be fully stocked and you'll wonder why you wasted all of the gas and cellphone minutes.

Backside of the feet/toes is not even painted... that looks cheap...

For those lucky enough to have got Starscream I have a question,
Approx how heavy is the figure when still boxed?
I'm thinking of asking one of my contacts in the US to try and get me a Starscream but I want to try and get a rough idea of what the shipping to the UK is likely to be.

Weird sight at my Walmart...Friday before the weekend, the pegs had a bunch of warmers in the form of Swindle, Wreckage and some Bonecrushers. There were at least 15-20, so a good amount...I go to check today and the TF section is CLEANED OUT. No peg warmers, no tech, no nothing.

I can't imagine they ALL sold over the weekend

Hope this means a new stock soon <crossing fingers for MP SS, but won't hold my breath>

Wow, is he that rare??!!!

My Wal-Mart had MP SS! A lot of them! (at least 10) The box is pretty big (reminds me of movie Leaders). It's retailing for a ridiculous $48.88 ($52.85 w/ tax). I picked it up because I remember reading about him on the boards, but I didn't think he was only released to a select few Wally's.

This is my first MP character ever, so that's probably why I'm so surprised. How do these figs usually go down? Geez, I've never needed a digital camera more than now.

P.S. I live in San Antonio, TX...if anyone's in the area.

Not rare so much as undeployed. Of course, he will be rare enough soon enough judging by ebay right now, though those prices may tumble soon. Anyway, I've been shaking the bushes at four Mall*Warts here in Capital District NY. All are out, though at one of them one of the stock girls took me seriously and we played with the price gun. We confirmed the UPC out of home office, but none were even coming to that particular Wart. Three others are quite good at exclusives, and two have "big trucks" coming tonight. Not all employees are willing to do UPC search though, and none have confirmed there are some on the way.

The hunt is a lot of the fun anyway; I have some cash handy, so if I do find some, I am going to buy them all (assuming it's a small stash like 6 or so). If that happens, I will post them for members, also assuming that this really is going to be rarer than DVD prime and worth that kind of hoopla and insanity for a hunk of plastic and metal. I think so, oh, I think so...

I know I would!! I just got back from my walmart(upstate ny monroe) and still nothing. But plenty of Leader Primes and Megs. And the new Ultm. BB with Brawl and Scrop.(price is $79.99 w/ both deluxes)

Also, in relation to the thread... One of the Wally Worlds I checked today, I caught the Department Manager and asked him to run the UPC for me. He entered it in and handed the gun to me...

Zero all across the board. In stock, in warehouse, en route. Nothing.

Gotta catch the department manager at another Wally World tomorrow...
