He looks a million times nicer in the right colours, but WHY OH WHY are all the little joiner peices on the top of the jet mode (the bits connecting the wing flaps and the bits connecting the pannels either side of the main fusalage) in black unpainted plastic?

I fully intend to get him if I get the chance, along with skywarp.

Not quite.

He has one peice thumbs connected by a ball joint at the end, fully posable top finger, and the other three fingers are joined together with a hinge on the finger joint and a ball joint at the end of the fingers.

His fingers do have better posability than the other MPs/Leader movie prime, and are about as posable as they can be without being far too fragile.

You tilt his head back (it's connected by ball joint I believe) and you'll see an oval shaped gray piece with a hole in the center, that his face assembly. Grab that with your fingers, pull away from the rest of the head, literally spin the gray piece around, push it back into the rest of the head and then put the head back down for robot mode. He has a smirk and a straight faced look on the same head, it's just a matter of flipping it around.

Yes he does, and it's actually painted, unlike the Takara version.

It's nice to see that he's panel lined, saves me the work. (I love to bring out all that detail they leave behind.)

It's just minor diffrences, with the legs beeing the biggest of em, but I like this a lot more then the one we have.

that is the prototype, which all things considered was pretty nice, though a bit more blocky and bulkier then the final version..

Dont know if I posted this information already, and was wondering if anyone else has heard this, Walmart Corp told me that the release date for this figure is Nov 15.. Is this true..But then how did Texas, Illinois, Missouri, and other places a;ready get theirs???

I just got back from the Walmart out here (New Orleans, LA) and there were 10 more MP SS's there. That's odd, because there were only 2 there when I went last night.

I wonder what would be the size of that aborted MP SS...

It certainly looks bigger than the one we have now. But he is indeed bulkier than the regular MP SS. Too bulkier to my taste, I might say.

I could do with a little work on regular MP SS feet. They look kinda lame the way they are.

Other than that, this aborterd MP has an ugly back with lots of panels apparently thrown together and just hidden. And his arms look way too short.
