It's always fun to get these. I remember when Kaye did the 1st one. Now he sounds more like Patrick Stewart than Megatron, but it's nice to keep the tradition alive.

That's very fitting since he did a Stewart impression back when he voiced Professor X on X-Men: Evolution (probably my favorite animated Professor X voice).Rodimus Prime wrote:It's always fun to get these. Garry Chalk's Christmas video for the year 2024:
No, Garry was not feeling well when he recorded this with me back in November. I visited him because he was diagnosed with cancer which absolutely broke my heart, and while I said it was completely fine if we didn't do a parody this year, he insisted on trying it anyway because that's the kind of guy he is. He is larger than life. Garry went all in, giving his absolute best (just as he does at conventions even when he's too tired or not feeling enough), and after a few takes with some lyric changes, he got through it, and I just sat there in amazement and full of the deepest gratitude.
His official diagnosis is Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It's very treatable and he is under the best care with the best team and his amazing wife right beside him. If you can, please spare a moment this holiday season to send him and his family positive vibes, prayers, healing, strength, light and love. The journey so far has been very emotional, but I know he will beat this. He is, otherwise, in great health which is a huge advantage for him and he's very strong. Garry always portrays himself as a powerful force, always willing to help others and he's so generous, so it's hard to imagine him being incapacitated by this illness. My biggest holiday wish is for him to get better and defeating this horrible disease so he can back to doing the things he loves; his music, reading, cooking, conventions, and helping others.
Side note: He has taken himself off Cameo until he feels better. Please refrain from asking him for videos and autographs at this time. Thank you.
Parody Lyrics:
Chasing Preds through space,
Traveling through time.
He stole the golden disk,
That's a pretty hefty crime.
On the Axalon,
Underneath the stars.
A simple exploration crew,
We’re starting the Beast Wars!
Oh,
Rhinox tells.
Rattrap smells.
Cheetor disobeyed.
Dinobot left the Preds,
Meggy felt betrayed.
Airazor,
Bungalow.
Alien laser.
Keep it from the Predacons,
The planet’s gonna blow!
Flying through the air,
On my silver hover board.
All I do is care,
The Preds can’t be ignored.
All this energon,
Has gone to Meggy’s head.
My crew and I must now be strong,
“Well, that’s just prime,” I said!
Oh,
Ravage came,
With his ship.
Tried to hide the blame.
Turned on us, so here’s a tip,
Trusting ‘Cons is such a shame.
Found the Ark,
Took Prime’s spark,
Just to save the day.
Lost our base to ol’ crab-cakes,
Our future is still safe.
Now the moment’s come,
When trukk and munky meet.
When push comes to shove,
I’ve got Meggy beat.
Envy overcame him,
He stole his namesake’s spark.
Became a red dragon,
It was not a pleasant start.
Oh,
Now the Vok.
Nemesis.
We lost Tigerhawk.
Took a vow not to bow,
And Megs said, What a shock!

I didn't know he was diagnosed with cancer. I wish him a successful treatment Merry Christmas and a happy new year. The song was really good. Now we need Megatron's response.

It's always nice to get these, but it sounds like he had a few too many glasses of eggnog.

Super late with these due to the holidays and all, but here are Garry Chalk and David Kaye's 2025 Christmas videos:
Twelve Voices For The Holidays (2025)
Directed & Produced by Candice N. Santora & #GarryChalk.
Music by Garry Chalk.
Created by Candice N. Santora.
Performed by Garry Chalk, the voice of #OptimusPrimal on #BeastWars and #BeastMachines #Transformers, as well as #OptimusPrime in the #UnicronTrilogy (#Armada, #Cybertron, #Energon).
Our 9th annual Beast Wars #carol is a different take than what we usually do.
We took the 12 Days of Christmas and used several of Garry's characters he has portrayed to sing the verses; from older characters he voiced many years ago to a couple more recent ones. I printed the lyrics for Garry and asked him to improvise or add in quotes from his characters as he sang them. This was not a simple task which is why I didn't bother changing the lyrics this time. I tried matching most of the characters with the lyrics I thought best fit them and their personalities, and I deliberately chose Metal-Head for the first day because it's so outrageous.
The ensemble of voices at the end of the song was Garry's idea. We recorded each one separately and combined them for a chorus.
I apologize for some of the sound quality; my phone was resting on his music stand for two of the videos we recorded together. I had forgotten to bring my selfie stick. I also apologize for some of the editing where the video clips are too close together. I didn't leave enough room between takes since we hadn't practiced enough to get our timing right. Once Garry found a rhythm for himself, I didn't want to stop him.
Let's all take a minute to appreciate Garry surviving his Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma after his six months of chemotherapy. He kicked cancer's skidplate! He was the first one on a new experimental chemo, and since it was so successful and he responded to it so well, they will now be implementing it in more cancer patients. He's a leader both in fiction and in real life. Truly wonderful. I, for one, am so grateful that he has survived this horrible disease and is still with us and still making the world a better place with his presence and exceptional work.
Violet is the theme in this year's video for Hodgkin's Lymphoma awareness.
Dedicated to all the cancer fighters, survivors and their supporters.
F*** cancer.
We'll be attending TFCON LA 2026 from March 13-15!
Come see us for free hugs, handshakes, fist bumps, and chats!
Predacons, assume formation!
It has become a glorious tradition, has it not? Once a year, we set aside our differences, pause the Eternal War, and I grace you with my presence for the holidays.
Whether you are a loyal Predacon or a misguided Maximal, I command you to have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy the peace while it lasts... because tomorrow, the conquest continues.
Yesss.
